I'm obsessed with gardenias. I've planted 37 of them in 4 years. Each variation smells different. Shakai makes the best gardenia smelling products soap, lotion and shower gel.
I only have 8 gardenia bushes, but that will change by the end of spring. We will be planting more of my favorite flower around the entire fence in the back yard.
Fun fact: There is no way to extract the scent from a gardenia, so all gardenia notes in perfume are synthetic.I have a Gardenia bush in my yard, and it's sweet and spicy, not light and airy.
Gardenia was in my wedding bouquet! So fragrant and lovely.

I love Gardenia, Creed & Elizabeth Taylor's Gardenia are 2 of my favorites. I own about half of these you mentioned, those 2 really stand out as beautiful!
I absolutely love Estée Lauder private collection… I tried one spray on my wrist and in the warm autumn wind it smelled amazing. The dry down is beautiful. I am going to buy a bottle tomorrow!! So excited!! Thank you for your reviews, they are always so informative and interesting!!

One other frangrance that comes close to the gardenia scent is Sand & Sable. Inexpensive, but nice to wear during south Florida summers.
Sand and Sable was popular when I was in high school in the early 90s. I didn’t know this perfume was still being produced.

My favorite perfume with gardenia is La Panthere by Cartier. It is bold, sensual and lasts a long time on my skin. It is a very pretty smell :-) I enjoyed your video. Gardenia is my favorite floral scent too. I can see I have 6 of the perfumes you have mentioned.
My favorite from this list is Tocca Florence! I’d love it if you did a Lavender perfume video, I had bought Mon Guerlain for my mom and fell inlove so i’d love to see what fragrances could be similar! 💜

I am starting to love Gardenia. Thank you for the video and scent ideas. Coach Dreams just arrived at my door. Bitter orange, pear, gardenia, cactus flower (my favorite), and a woody joshua tree note and maybe a light musk. It is so lovely.
Actually. Now that I have lived with this sent awhile. I love it less. It is so sad when that happens. Something about it has started to turn a little hair spray esque with my body chemistry.

Tuberose Gardenia. It is not overpowering it is simple and very clean. The Tuberose is the scent that dominates and not everyone can handle the richness.
I think it's a perfect balance and a perfect lovely combination of my 2 favorite flowers.
I wear this all the time.
One I just discovered that is an amazing gardenia- Live Colorfully (the original) from Kate Spade. WOW! So good!

I have been searching for the most AUTHENTIC smelling Gardenia perfume without all of the other scents added. If I could just get pure Gardenia fragrance I would be in heaven, but it would also cost a small fortune. So, does anyone have a recommendation?

Yves Rocher made a gardenia fragrance some years ago. The only thing I found to smell like a true gardenia. It has since been discontinued.
La panthere is just amazing and súper elegant, people compares with narciso but i think the first is much more femnine. I also own Daisy and it makes me feel happy⚘👍👏🥰
La Panthere is very interesting. I like bnb it because in the dry down it smells like Zest or Irish spring. So does La Panthere legere.
My hubby likes Gardenia he grew up near the beach. I however do not care for it. Love that necklace! Already scoped out my month. Lol
yess, tbs english gardenia included in this video, I prefer this one than Fijian Lotus one since they almost smelled the same..it's heavier in the scent and has a more solid molecule I think😄

I like Chanel's Gardénia, Estée Lauder's Tuberose Gardenia and Kai's Kai perfume. Kai is definitely my most favorite of the bunch and smells like the flower on the bush. I know this, because I grow them in my garden at home.
I really want to try that Jo Loves Gardenia perfume though! It sounds divine. I'd also like to smell Hawaiian Forever Florals Gardenia too, so I have heard that also smells amazing really realistic smelling.

I didn’t care for gorgeous gardenia, it had a fruit citrus top that I can’t handle, but I bought gorgeous Jasmine because I preferred it and honestly I HAD to have one of the bottles! The turquoise bottle is my absolute favorite bottle in my entire collection ! Anyways… lol

I always "think" I know what this smells like, but then I find perfumes that surprise me (in a good way), and have NO Lily of the Valley in them!

How about the Marc jacobs (that’s all my bottle says) I think it is limited edition. It’s like short rectangle with a flat black pump to me Gardenia is the primary thing that I smell! I love it!

I was just googling Gardenia - so perfect timing for your video. How do you pick out each note such as gardenia, tuberose, patchouli, osmanthus etc if you dont know what each smells like. Can you buy samples of each note or is it a trip to the garden centre to smell each flower? 😂
Hmm well a lot are tropical so might not be in garden centre. It’s a good question. Essential oils might be best?

The gardena perfume from the body shop has been discontinued as well the body shop is making cuts to only sell our top 100 products. Gardenia is not a top seller. The jasmine and cherry blossom white musk and black musk stayed however the UK has some products we don't have in the us.

I want to like creed...but the fact the lied about their history is a bit off putting for me. They are a quality brand, just don’t like that they mislead people to thinking they are a historic brand just because they bought the name from a historic tailoring business.
