One day i bought a decant of mugler's alien and cannot for the life of me smell any jasmine in there, at least not the way the jasmine in front of my house smell. It's nice but i can't find the jasmine that i'm familiar with all my life. There's a local cosmetic brand in indonesia called viva cosmetics. They have a jasmine perfume that smelled exactly like the jasmine in front of my house.
Fellow Indonesian here. I understand the struggle to find tropical, almost oriental smelling of jasmine that we’re familiar with. To this day, the closest I can find is Nomade Jasmin Naturel Intense by Chloè😊
This 👏 Algerian here. Almost always disappointed by supposedly jasmine fragrances. They smell nothing like jasmine. The only exception was Atelier Cologne, Jasmin Angélique - which doesn’t exist anymore unfortunately 😢
My signature scent is Calvin Klein Beauty. I love musk, white florals and woody notes so its perfect for me. Its simple, delicate and pretty. It lasts for hours and its inexpensive to purchase. Check it out if you love jasmine. FYI, jasmine is good for anxiety and makes you feel happy 😊
I also use beauty as my signature scent for years and love it. But I feel like it's changed a bit over the years. I was wondering if you are feeling the same thing? Cause I couldn't find any info online if they changed the formula or not. But I feel like since they changed the colour of the cap, it's not the same. :( I miss the former version with silver cap.
There are sooo many good ones but you only bring up some designer. Libre is not a yasmine prominent perfume in my Mose. My best is Glamorous, Jasmin rouge or Jasmins Marzipane but still looking for the ONE. Jasmins de Anges is also a good one.
Jasmine is one of my favorite fragrance notes. Some of my favorite jasmine centric perfumes are Acqua di Parma Gelsomino Nobile (sadly discontinued but can still be found on occasion), Lust from Lush, Fils de Joie Serge Lutens and Jasmin Rouge Tom Ford.

My favorite jasmine fragrance was Atelier Cologne’s Jasmin Angélique: the cleanest, most natural jasmine scent ever. Unfortunately, the brand doesn’t exist anymore (they had the most amazing vanilla fragrance as well, Vanille Insensée: very authentic, nothing to do with the overly sweet & sickly vanillas that dominate the market). I recently purchased Chloé’s Nomade Jasmin Naturel Intense. Can’t wait to try it! The date notes make me think it could be similar to Une Nuit Nomade’s Jardins de Misfah 💕
@@n-s742 I think it lasts really well for an EDT. I think it smells really beautiful. It has a Jasmine tea smell. It's perfect for summer. I don't think it's super masculine but I think anyone could wear it.
@@SokiLondon Yes, it's a department store mainly located in the southern US, kind of like Macy's but a bit more accessible price-wise. I think they must have recently contracted with a new fragrance stocker for online sales because I saw several while browsing online that I have not seen previously.
