Britney's natural voice is much deeper (as what you heard in the beginning of the performance) than the baby whine the studios decided she had to use, because there were already so many power female vocals on the market, and her follow Mickley mouse club colleague Christina debuted at the same time at her, and they decided Christina would go the powerful vocals route with Britney going the other route.
Hey guys! First time viewer of this channel, and new subscriber😉 I watched this live when it aired. LOOOOVED it so much. Before I give my what I know will be a long winded comment, bcuz I talk too much when I get remotely passionate about something.😅I wanted to say to you guys, | *PLEASE watch her 2001 VMA and AMA performances.* Oh it's SO good! Ok now what I wanted to say about this lol. I have always loved Britney. She is performer like no other. She could be dressed the exact same as all the other dancers, doing the same exact dance, and your eyes will still be drawn to her. I too love the mix they made of this song. Cranked up the beat, and that added electric guitar. Love it. Love the original of course. Also YES she does sing this live, a long with a track of backup vocals. How she manages to sing at all while dancing like that, is beyond me. It's SO SO SO hard to keep your voice steady enough to sound even "ok" while dancing like that, let alone *good!* She is a phenomenal dancer too. I love watching all of her choreography rehearsals at the dance studio from through out the years. We all love Britney, and those who say they don't are either lying to us, or themselves. 😉😉
Now all this middle aged mother of two teenage boys does is post nude shots and models on her fake runways in her 20 yr old outfits while nearly stepping in the dog excrement that litters her floors and she doesn't even care. Her poor kids and any animals living under her roof. She's so messed up.
She's a performer not a vocalist. I actually agree with the decision to have her full lip sync and go all out on the dancing rather than the 50/50 they tried to do in the beginning of her career.
