I love how Steven and Shane talk about Ryan liking magic like they're his civilized, divorced parents trying to show that they know their little guy the best. Kevin is amazing! His slight of hand, his confidence, and unassuming behaviour makes him a great illusionist and magician! Well done!!
Not Steven sharing how magic used to make him upset because it’s like they’re lying to your face and he always wanted to know how they do their tricks to feel satisfied, but that he’s gotten over it. Twenty minutes later, Steven gets worked up after the first card trick and vows to look over the footage later to try to understand it 😂
The reveal at the end is INSANE. I'm usually unimpressed by magic but I completely understand how Steven feels, those tricks are DISGUSTINGLY GOOD. Please bring Kevin back as soon as you can.
The digits saying watcher has blown my mind! I can see why Steven is so exhausted by the misdirection! This craft much take so much practice! Absolutely amazing! I have a new respect for magicians! Also, Kevin is hot as hell.
There’s a certain level of showmanship with magicians where the audience is very clearly frustrated that they can’t see past their tricks but still maintain a level of curiosity that keeps them coming back n this guys got it
I'm pretty sure I saw the moment he took the key. But for the life of me I can't figure out when he put it in Steven's pocket! And the last bit of that card trick was insane! Well done, Kevin! Please come back on!!
I had a blast watching this. Magic tricks bring so much childish joy out of me and I had a great time watching this after a hard day at work. Please bring Kevin back to show the tricks to Ryan!!
Penn is one of my brother's heroes and we ran into him at a concert. My brother went up to him and Penn was the nicest dude, really gracious, talked to my brother for a few minutes. He's a chill dude for sure!
I'm so glad I came back to finish this episode bc between watching Steven's brain melt to just being blown away by Kevin's work, it was well worth the watch. That last one was especially fun!
Kevin’s little chuckle in response kinda reminds me of when editors in reality tv just use b roll footage of the characters doing anything to make it look more natural n it honestly takes me out lol
What a fun guest!!! I love how Steven is always getting onto Ryan and Shane about looking up too many things on their phones for the audio listeners, but then promptly brings on a guest that requires the audience to be watching. As a fan of watching on TH-cam, I'm here for it...but also find it funny! Great episode guys! I loved when Steven said he was going to pass out... hope he recovers! 😂
The same thing that happened to Steven happened to me once and it pissed me off SO bad. This random neighbor called me a liar to my face basically, even came out of her house to point at the ground and then was SO nice to me when she realized she was wrong. I wish I had been more assertive instead of apologetic, and called her out on HER rude behavior. So I agree with Shane, don't capitulate.
one time my neighbor pulled up in her car while my dog was just walking near her door (its apartments so there really isnt much lawn) not even peeing or pooping, and she got out to YELL at me for letting my dog walk on "her grass". she came out like "no, no, no! you're not gonna let you dog here!" like i was a fucking toddler. i had covid at the time so i just told her that and that she should stay back, which shut her up for a second. but she kept going and my dog was freaking out (obviously) and i was so sick and tired that i said "i'm not in the fucking mood for this" and walked away LMAO like these are apartments, lady. it is not your property and it's dog friendly. still, i'm a respectful person, so i remember not to let my dog go near her door (bc idk if she has valid reasons for it, like allergies and what not) but my whole thing is if she had asked nicely and not condescended me, i wouldn't now be shit talking her and thinking she's a cunt every time i see her lol
He gets them to think of specific things and watches body language. The questions are part getting them to think of a specific thing and part distraction. He mentioned hes more into the psychological aspect
I saw Penn and Teller in Las Vegas. I wanted to get an autograph after but my grandfather was having back pain and didn't want to wait. I wrote to them and told them about it, and a few months later got an autographed 8x10 in the mail. Class A guys
Hi Steven! So Grogu is called "Baby Yoda" because for the first few episodes (or may season) the main character (the Mandalorian), and therefore also the audience, didn't know the baby's name. It's funny bc theres actually a lot of merch from that point in the show bc he was such a popular character but they couldnt release his name that says "Baby Yoda" until they revealed the name and could start selling Grogu stuff. Hope this helps on context for the name at least if not the actual show!!
As someone who has anxiety, I totally understand Steven feeling uncomfortable around magic. The fear of being the only person not in on something, and then everyone else getting together to bring it to everyone’s attention is a regular fear every day. And illusions/slight of hand/magic can get really close to those same feelings.
Not me zooming in on the card tricks😂 and being as stressed as Steven but was so amazing to watch and feel like I was participating, that was great Kevin!
I didn't expect Steven will be throwing pillows at first magic 😂 I first watch Kevin at React channel. When Steven talked about magician friend named Kevin, I already know this is going to be an amazing episode.
Not even saying this is the answer.... but I'm wondering if for the song trick, the website he enters into Shane's phone is some proxy version of Genius and he can somehow retrieve Steven's selection on his phone when "timing" the 20 question round. Good chance that's not even it.... but it's the only thing I can think of.
Searched long through the comments for this but... OMFG that was painful to listen to! 😂I'm not even that deep into the canon compared to the diehards: seen only but all the live action films, and only all the Mando seasons, Book of Boba, Obi Wan, and Andor. Shane explained Grogu so badly...
I was used in a magic trick like the key once. Magician either moved a foam ball from his hand to mine, or from mine to his (I forget which way now) but he never touched me so idk how it happened and it's been over 10 years and I'm still mad about it.
It took me a moment to realize Shane is wearing a Snoopy & Woodstock shirt, & it makes me so happy. 💜 Also Steven same, I have had so many bad experiences with neighbors thinking I've left my dear dog's poo, & I never have. Some people in our old city would even yell & throw rocks. I carry a whole bag of Maggie's things with me (poo bag roll, treats, etc.) & it drives me nuts when people assume I'd leave her waste. What do they think I carry this bag for?! Her. It's all for Maggie.
Steven, I feel your pain about the dog not pooping. At my last apartment in columbus, I often felt like the only one who picked up after their dog (and if only my chihuahua pooped, I would pick up other dog's poop being it felt like a waste of poop bag if I didn't), and more than once (when my dogs weren't even actively going potty!) I had some random neighbor who clearly never saw me before tell me that I needed to pick up after my dogs and my response was always "bitch, I'm the only fucking one who does!" while pulling out a roll of bags to shake at them. Also, if you want a funny dog poop story. I had a 90lb XL lab (not fat, just very tall) who was the sweetest girl in the world, didn't have a mean bone in her body, but her size alone could scare people. In my opinion, the absolutely least threatening act by a dog is when they're mid poop, but my Sloopy girl made 2 different women on 2 different occasions run away while screaming when they saw her. The first time was funny, the second time was more WTF
Magicians are so cool lol there's just something about them that's so smooth when they nail a trick. I'd definitely fall for Kevin on the spot if I saw a magic trick from him in person 🤣
Amazing! I love a good magic trick and I don't want to know how it's done. There is too little magical surprises in adult life so it's nice to be surprised. :)
one time i got really high before going out to dinner with my boyfriends friends and while we waited for our table a magician came up and did tricks for us.. my reaction was similar to Steven’s x5 it was my actual hell
Ryan specifically saying how much he loves magicians and would want a magician on the podcast and then he's not there for it is peak Watcher
I hope Kevin does something on the main channel 🎉
Then Shane says “Ryan hates magic” 😂
So fun being on the podcast! ❤️🤘🏼
this was amazing and I have no idea how you did any of that- especially the key thing! Truly an amazing episode
Awesome stuff.
Loved every second of it. Thanks for being on the podcast man ❤️
You're great 🎉
Amazing work!!
Watching Shane be the "believer" and Steven be the "skeptic" is a very funny dynamic shift.
“Kevin just locked eyes with me in a way that only a magician can” was way too funny

@@bunnyfrosting1744 58:41
cry laughing at steven getting progressively more terrorized with each step of each trick that he’s literally begging for mercy
Matt fighting for his life to keep this podcast on the rails
The Lazy Acres updates is what I look forward to in the episodes
I love how Steven and Shane talk about Ryan liking magic like they're his civilized, divorced parents trying to show that they know their little guy the best.
Kevin is amazing! His slight of hand, his confidence, and unassuming behaviour makes him a great illusionist and magician! Well done!!
Anyone know why he’s gone?
@@nickiito5201he’s taking a vacation with his family! he mentioned it last pod :)
@@nickiito5201he mentioned at the end of the last podcast of nipples and Pepsi he was going on a family trip 😊
Not Steven sharing how magic used to make him upset because it’s like they’re lying to your face and he always wanted to know how they do their tricks to feel satisfied, but that he’s gotten over it.
Twenty minutes later, Steven gets worked up after the first card trick and vows to look over the footage later to try to understand it 😂
"steven has been in terror for the last 20 minutes" AHAHAHHA
The reveal at the end is INSANE. I'm usually unimpressed by magic but I completely understand how Steven feels, those tricks are DISGUSTINGLY GOOD. Please bring Kevin back as soon as you can.
love this dynamic of the trickster, the madman, and the skeptic.
Couldn’t have said it better
The digits saying watcher has blown my mind! I can see why Steven is so exhausted by the misdirection! This craft much take so much practice! Absolutely amazing! I have a new respect for magicians!
Also, Kevin is hot as hell.
SO hot, I’m glad I wasn’t the only one thinking that! Bet that works a treat as another form of misdirection, too 😂
Shane seemingly not caring about Star Wars except for Grogu and Andor is the kind of representation I've been wanting in this podcast.
There’s a certain level of showmanship with magicians where the audience is very clearly frustrated that they can’t see past their tricks but still maintain a level of curiosity that keeps them coming back n this guys got it
I would give anything for you guys to bring back Kevin when Ryan is back on the pod !!!
Same. This was one of the best episodes yet
Poor guys, they didn't know they were dealing with an actual wizard
This is the only explanation
seeing steven look like he did 2 Ironman marathons just from magic tricks is giving me life right now
I love Shane being so careful not to mess up the tricks.
Steven just being Done with the magic while Shane was joyfully entertained was so great.
very funny to see that they didnt leave shane and steven to host on their own, especially after the boys talked about how awkward they are alone lolol
They’ve totally warmed up to each other! It’s apparent in the WW+ shows they do on Patreon! It’s fun to see! :)
I thought that too 😂 is Ryan the glue friend
I'm so happy these podcasts are getting a bit longer! The first couple felt like they were over too soon ♡
Steven's reaction to each trick took me out lmao. I kept on laughing while watching the podcast.
Kevin seemed like such a cool guy and I’m so glad Steven is back this was such a good episode
I'm pretty sure I saw the moment he took the key. But for the life of me I can't figure out when he put it in Steven's pocket! And the last bit of that card trick was insane!
Well done, Kevin! Please come back on!!
Steven losing his absolute mind is so deeply relatable, I feel like this is literally psychological torture for him
The way I screamed “THE MAGICIAN CAME!!!!” when I saw this title
The Lazy Acres coffee cup I can't
They have GOT to be sponsoring at this point lol
I had a blast watching this. Magic tricks bring so much childish joy out of me and I had a great time watching this after a hard day at work. Please bring Kevin back to show the tricks to Ryan!!
i feel very represented by steven as i was similarly bewildered and exhausted by the end in the best way. Loved this ep!
also cant wait to maybe see more with kevin and yall w ryan too!
Penn is one of my brother's heroes and we ran into him at a concert. My brother went up to him and Penn was the nicest dude, really gracious, talked to my brother for a few minutes. He's a chill dude for sure!

I love this little exchange at 4:13 where shane gives respect to magician kevin and he happily receives.
Kevin’s little chuckle in response kinda reminds me of when editors in reality tv just use b roll footage of the characters doing anything to make it look more natural n it honestly takes me out lol

Steven was stressed during the magic tricks 😂
The same thing that happened to Steven happened to me once and it pissed me off SO bad. At like 50:50 I just love that the Magician is just like, well that's how it goes sometimes. "Magic is hard"
All those magic tricks were cool, but the key one blew me away! The best part of the episode was watching Steven react to the tricks tho.
as they were talking about kevin's agt performance, i had to go and watch it. i am beyond impressed, this guy has serious skill!!!
He gets them to think of specific things and watches body language. The questions are part getting them to think of a specific thing and part distraction. He mentioned hes more into the psychological aspect
cannot WAIT to hear Ryan's reaction 😂

Kevin broke Steven’s brain
Not me zooming in on the card tricks😂 and being as stressed as Steven but was so amazing to watch and feel like I was participating, that was great Kevin!
Hope to see more magic content with Kevin! Thanks Steven for inviting him.
Wow ryan looks really different from the last episode
Steven is freaking hilarious. I love this magical episode.
Honestly a Kevin show on Watcher would be amazing!
This was great what a charming guest, I love his voice too❤
Terrific episode! Kevin was a truly fun guest. I LOVE sleight of hand and he’s great!
I didn't expect Steven will be throwing pillows at first magic 😂 I first watch Kevin at React channel. When Steven talked about magician friend named Kevin, I already know this is going to be an amazing episode.
I look forward to this podcast every week, when I realize it’s a Monday I always get so happy. Thanks guys!
Kevin broke Steven! lol He is emotionally drained by this magic.
only a few days of prep for such a tailored little set for this???? amazing
Nichole Scherzinger made One Direction!! She chose the boys. Simon took credit for years, but it's literally on tape!
Ooooh tea
literally was screaming at every magic trick SO COOL
Not even saying this is the answer.... but I'm wondering if for the song trick, the website he enters into Shane's phone is some proxy version of Genius and he can somehow retrieve Steven's selection on his phone when "timing" the 20 question round. Good chance that's not even it.... but it's the only thing I can think of.
every time steven lim says something incredible and shane throws his head back to laugh? that's entertainment right there.
steven even told shane to take a different piece of the card from the one kevin suggested and it's...my mind is boggled.
As a hardcore Star Wars fan I was DYING over the Grogu and Star Wars talk😂
losing my goddamn mind haha. Shane thinks Yoda is only 300 years old and thinks he saw a clip of Grogu talking in full sentences???
Searched long through the comments for this but... OMFG that was painful to listen to! 😂I'm not even that deep into the canon compared to the diehards: seen only but all the live action films, and only all the Mando seasons, Book of Boba, Obi Wan, and Andor. Shane explained Grogu so badly...
43:53 You can absolutely train cats! Clicker training is great!

Im absolutely baffled and feel like steven watching kevin do magic…. Woah
as a skeptic im actually pretty impressed with his tircks, pretty cool and freaky....
I didn’t know Kevin worked with Jackson! That’s so cool! 🤩
I listen to these at work (archaeologist, digging can get a bit boring/repetitive) and I had to come back watch the vid for this one!
seeing steven going insane is so fucking funny 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
this was so cool to see. magic is awesome!!!!
his tricks were incredible
Shane not having instagram on his phone is the most Shane thing ever ❤
Poor Ryan missed the magician lol
Idk how he did any of that, and I don’t want to know. That was 🤯
i live for the lazy acres updates & lore
LOVED THIS EPISODE!!! thank you for introducing us to Kevin. Your guys' dynamic is awesome✨️✨️✨️
The word Shane was looking for at the end was "mathemagical" ✨
Woah, the magic was awesome! What a treat.
Top tier episode!
My god that was wonderful. I am so entertained.
MIDWEST! RISE! UP!!!!!!!!

This episode was so fun! Kevin is awesome
Shane choosing a topic he barely cares about is very in character lmao
the magic tricks had me with my mouth open holy f it was amazing 😂❤
Magicians are so cool lol there's just something about them that's so smooth when they nail a trick. I'd definitely fall for Kevin on the spot if I saw a magic trick from him in person 🤣
Jackson Wang keeping his tradition alive of meeting everyone at a party
My face hurts from smiling, that was the best!
The little pillow in Steven’s lap 😭 our boy is so comfy
shane during the card trick has me in STITCHES. "i need a magicians permission"
THIS WAS AMAZING
This was something special I love magic
I love magicians so much, this episode made my whole week ❤❤ also, NEW GROGU MOVIE?!?
that was literally so fun
Amazing! I love a good magic trick and I don't want to know how it's done. There is too little magical surprises in adult life so it's nice to be surprised. :)
