I think you overlooked an important point of that interview. That is, Sides said she would be happy with a 6, 7 or 8 position at the end of the season. That means that she would be happy at 8, or worse than where they are now. That would imply she would be happy with a below a .500 team. Yet, this is a team with 3 all--stars and the best point guard in league. Sides should be pushing them for the 5 position (if not higher).
Sides is lucky to have CC, because CC is like having a coach playing basketball. CC calls some plays, but it was mostly Sides messing up the offense.
