TUTORIAL HOW TO | Antique document journal | sewing in the pages - adding pockets

Here is PART 2 of a little series making a lovely tall hoardie document journal. I will go through the whole process from start to finish including working on the pages.
Today we are:
- organising our pages
- sewing them in with my 'document binding'
- adding lace and paper tuckets/pockets

I found some old documents (1880’s) here in a Tennessee courthouse, and they were folded in such a way that they fit in a saddlebag. I really like the way you bound these delicate papers; I haven’t seen anyone else do it that way.

I had to laugh at myself when I listened to yesterday's video when you talked about hoarding. About 32 years ago I bought some marbled paper when we were in Florence. As of today, I have not used them. I guess it is time!
I love the three kits you put in your shop today. They are downloaded and I will be printing them tomorrow on my new printer. By the way, I recently figured out how to turn printing with or without a border on my HP. Knowing how much you use your printer, you may already know how to do so. If not, I will be happy to share.

Your tacky glue should hold, i often use Aileens tacky glue for fabric, it holds well so does glitter glue whereas i find sometimes the fabritac goes hard fast or seeps through. Love your vintage ephemera, so hard to find it over here! 🙂💕
