Thank you so much!! I learned how to read before going to Korea but couldn’t really speak much. I took Korean 1 while I studied there. Don’t worry too much about the language barrier because I still able to navigate Korea without speaking the language that much!

Most of the courses at KAIST are taught in English. I took math courses and an algorithms course. They were not only for exchange students, and the teachers taught the classes in English.

An exchange student is someone who temporarily studies in a foreign country. So I'm from the US, and for the spring 2024 semester, I was an exchange student in Korea. I hope this helps!
