    Can you share your naver list with all the saved places? :)

      Oooh I would love to! I might try and see if there's a way for me to make my lists public/downloadable without exposing my personal Naver account, so I can't give anything just now, but I'll definitely come back with an update!

    i just watched the whole video, thank you for that cause it's truly usefull. my current goal is to go in yonsei UIC in fall 2025, so i've got one year to plan everything. as a non english speaker as maternal language this is so freaking hard for me to understand all the requirement to get to yonsei, but that's smh exciting lol. i've got few questions btw maybe you can help me: is it hard to get full scholarship in yonsei? i mean i definitely can't get in korea if i have to pay fee on my own so i'm stresses about that. also i heard that the korean government offer a scholarship as well, so maybe you know if it's possible to apply for both of them? my text is too long sorry. anyway thanks for your vid again, i'll surely watch it again when i'll start applying!

      oh i just got one last question: what is the letter of recommendation? like do i just have to ask to random teacher i had in highschool to write a letter for me, and that's it? i just don't get the point of asking us that

      Hi! Thank you so much for your support! It looks like you're applying to be a full-time International student at Yonsei UIC, correct? Unfortunately that would be a different process than my experience, since I was a study abroad/exchange student only there for one semester. While I was at Yonsei, I took some classes at UIC and met a few students who were studying there full time, like you wish to. I do know that some of them were there on scholarship, though I'm not sure if that was from Yonsei or the Korean government, though I assume it may not have been from the government, as Yonsei is a private school. I wish I could help you in more detail, but I also don't want to give you any incorrect information. Though it looks you're interested in something a little different than what I'm presenting in this video, I hope some of it was still helpful for you in some way. Again, thank you so much for your support and I wish you the best in figuring out how you may study at Yonsei UIC!

      Oh sorry, I also just saw this. The letter of recommendation was something I mentioned some UCEAP (my study abroad program through the University of California) exchange programs required, like Waseda University in Japan. However, I noted that none of the Korean exchange programs, including Yonsei, required this. Since we're university exchange students, it would have been a letter from a professor, probably about the student's language/cultural/academic merit for studying at that particular institution/country. I don't know if you were to apply to Yonsei as a full-time international student (like in your case), if a letter of recommendation would be required.

      @@lynneguine sorry i didn't get that you were an exchange student (it seems that i still have a lot to work on with my english). Yes i want to apply to be a full-time international student at UIC. even though you can't answer my questions as we're not on the same path, thanks for trying to help me. and yep your video was still helpfull,( as for the class registration, you explained it very well and i thank you a lot for that). About the letter of recommendation i was convinced that i required one but with your response i think i need to inquire a bit more about that. anyway, i won't take more of your time, thanks for your help and thanks for your video. i'll do my best to get accepted. i wish you the best in your life 👋

    did you need any specific information to book your arc appointment? like a korean phone number?

    • @lynneguine
      @lynneguine  หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, I didn't need a Korean number to reserve it! I'm not sure if it's changed in the past year, but last year, I was able to book it on the website while I was in the US, when I didn't have a Korean SIM card yet. I think you'll need your visa issued because it'll probably ask for your visa number and info, but I believe that was it.
