      Thanks. I use the same wood and cut a 1 inch strip the full length of the shelf glued & screwed it to the shelf and then screwed ghat to the wall studs. Because it’s only 1 inches tall you can see it when standing on the floor.

      The shelves are made from 8x4 sheet of Melamine closet wood from Home Depot. Cut to shape for corners & cut to strip for straights. Cheapest way I found yet.

      Run them all monthly and 2 drops of oil 2 times a year. Trains die if you don’t run them.

    Very cool. How did you mount the shelves? I've seen many with obvious shelf brackets, yours is very clean.
