I slid the Area=30 rectangle so that its left edge was at the right edge of rectangle A. That left the unoccupied part of the Area=35 rectangle equal to 5. From there it was obvious.
If the difference in areas is 5, and the difference in widths is 1, then the height is 5. 5(11-x)=35 5(10-x)=30 55-5x=35, so x=4. 50-5x=30, so x=4 (check the second one to confirm that results are the same). Area is 4*5=20 sq units. I'm not sure that the way I did it is an exact match, but it seems to work.
