i have a page turner i use with my kindle. my set up is to prop my kindle paperwhite onto a gooseneck device holder that's clipped to my headboard and boom...i can lay in bed and turn pages hands free while being under the covers the whole time. it's the ultimate lazy reader's setup.
This would be great for certain disabled individuals! Especially paired with a stand. But even as an abled bodied person it does annoy me having to hold my kindle in bed on my side lol. i have thought of using one of those weighted posable ipad stands to hold my kindle for me but now knowing about page turners… i could hands free lay in bed and under the covers press a little button… i could use this lol
New to your channel, the algorithm brought me to you. Your voice and talk style reminds me a lot of Jackson Galaxy the “cat daddy”. 🐈 Just a weird observation. Does anyone else hear it? I’ve had a paperwhite for 6 years and I’m recently considering buying a page turner. I think it might come in handy when snuggly under blankets in the winter. 🥶
It's actually a bit of a bummer that these e-readers have blutooth and wifi but you are not able to take advantage of that (for example by connecting a generic Bluetooth page turner / powerpoint clicker). Good thing I use an Android-ereader. I love my Leaf 2.
I use a 8bitdo Micro with my Surface Duo and the Moonreader app. It seems the app automatically maps the controls, but the 8bitdo Micro is a remapable controller anyway.
I love to read! Would actually love to get one of the new color Kindles, but they're too rich for my blood. I just recently finished Play Nice from Jason Schreier, which you might enjoy, given you're a Blizzard fan. I do have to say, I don't fully understand the stand and the page turner. I mostly read in bed, anywhere from a half hour to an hour, but I usually lay on my side and hold my Kindle at the same angle as my face, so I don't seem to have any issues there... But Kindle has kind of ruined proper books for me. They're uncomfortable and difficult to read in my normal position and they lack a backlight and dictionary; I still read them (just started a physical book last night), but it is not preferred and if I have a choice, it's eReader every time.
imo color eink tech just isnt there yet, not worth it. the colors still look washed out, and the extra layer they use makes normal black and white text lose some clarity.
I have two of these devices and LOVE them. I have Raynaud's phenomenon in my hands and it helps me so much. I wonder how long it will be before they incorporate this kind of technology into Kindle cases? That would be super! Thanks for the video and validation! haha
Interesting, but gimmicky. An alternative option would be buying a 3rd party case with a hand strap and just swipe or tap your hands. I find things works well when reading in bed so your kindle doesn’t fall on your face or the floor should you find yourself falling asleep
@@TheIzzyNobreShow Wow. I pulled my GPD-XD Plus off the shelf and recently started back using it. After giving away my ANBERNIC RG35XXSP. Though, I liked the RG35XXSP I wish the sound was louder and the GPD-XD Plus has two louder stereo speakers. I gave away all of my RG35XX line of ANBERNIC handhelds except for my RG28XX. I also had the RG40XXH, RG35XXSP and the RG35XX Plus.
No, I have never seen these! I have a reader with buttons, a kindel Oasis (now discontinued!) and turn touch screen off, otherwise I touch the screen by mistake and find myself changing pages. A built in remote sounds good, if I can turn the touch off. This current product is no good for me as the touch screen needs to still be on. I am amazed at how stupid Kindel is, I went through the touch screen options, and every single one has the whole screen active, so stupid. (Perhap
If only Amazon would manufacture a Kindle that had page turn buttons built in, which would make turning pages easier as well as making the device more comfortable. That would be a welcome oasis amid all these e-reading devices…
i subscribed to youre channel because of retrohandhelds and PSP stuff. Its okay to watch something like this from time to time, but I'm more for the other stuff
Without watching the video, here's my take: No. I hold my Kindle Paperwhite in one hand and turn pages with a swiping motion using the other. The devices I've seen operate using a remote, meaning I would need to have my right hand occupied with the remote anyway, so it wouldn't be saving any time or effort, and there would be that thing clamped to the screen distracting me. I have no doubt that there are people who prefer turning pages by pressing a button rather than swiping or tapping the screen, so these might be good for them. I don't get why, but that's irrelevant. Different people have different ways of doing things, and that's fine.
I truly thought this was a joke.i hold my tablet and use my thumb to go to the next page. We are truly entering the world of Wall-E. I made the Wal!-E comment minutes before you brought it up.

It also helps disabled people like me. I just don't have a holder, but definitely need a page turner.
Always a good day when there's a new Izzy video. Could definitely use it today!
I'm glad you liked it! I'm working on more soon. Probably coming out today!

I know right?! The Libra has that functionality, the Color doesn't :( people use an 8BitDo for it.

@oniondesu9633 there's definitely not much reason for me to own one either. 99% of what I read is text only anyway.
@@beardyhat9547 would be really neat to see book covers in color but that is a very minor benefit compared to the negatives
Realmente existe utilidade para isso
. Saudades dos vídeos em português

Does it work with Android?
Hey Izzy! Do you still have your red GPD-XD and is it still your favorite handheld game console?
I don't :(

It's so fun how a U$30 little and simple device can transform into a R$200+ hahahahhahaha
I love your videos, thank you for uploading More content i've been following for years and it's good to have you back

Awesome! You're kind of becoming a snail I guess lol

Wow you're able to hold your electronic device, you're so much better than all of us! Thank you for letting us know!
Short answer. NO!
Heeyy, calculators are not single use devices. I can write B00BIES in them, and many other things. lol
