It's best to call attention to what a bully's doing - redirect the attention back, pointing out they're not getting away with cheap shots, rudeness, being petty, inappropriate or whatever. Dude Jeremiah made one of the largest *uckups of all time! He was legitimately the star of Kill Tony for years! And then the moment they have to leave to continue the show he chooses to bet on himself and his niche group of friends. That bet failed tremendously and Kill Tony has exploded now. Meanwhile Jeremiah carried KT for YEARS for practically nothing. I hate when stuff like this happens. Just imagine how MASSIVE Jeremiah would be if he decided to follow KT to Austin. He would literally be selling out arenas by now. I don't fault Tony at all for harboring some ill will towards his right hand man that ditched him when times got tough. Thems the breaks...

I've also seen that interview then there was a another podcast where he seemed to claim he was the son of a well off mobbed up dad who wasn't around or maybe I just misunderstood it
Norm was roasting the roast, tho. His was basically a protest of people being mean to his friend. He was a strange guy because other times he had no issue absolutely savaging his friends for a laugh. Weird dichotomy but his thing was to always tell these simple seemingly throwaway jokes that all deepened this bigger overarching joke. Tony just tells simple jokes. There's nothing deeper.
You’re referencing MSG yet redban has been a punching bag since the comedy store days…. If anything he’s recently been less of a bag cause I’m sure Tony told him to just be quite more. But when red ban does talk it’s usually dumb and gets a well deserved beating by tony to remind him he does suck. No one should feel bad it’s a shtick and they have been working together for over 15 years … if they really hated each other they wouldn’t be working together.
We need Bill Burr to come back on and set Tony straight again. That was so satisfying to watch years ago when he did that. I've always gotten this kind of vibe from Henchcliff. He lacks self awareness
@@maarten3409 look man he said the popular thing (tony bad) so just like, subscribe, give money to the patreon and only engage positively. how dare you use logic here?

I remember when my cousin told me to check out Kill Tony years back, and I did, I thought it was pretty cool how so many folks were accepting of him being gay.
Fame and money reveal their true colors. There are only few comedians like Gillis, Louis CK who seem to be immune. Even Chappelle is super cringey with his gangster music intros and mic drops trying to be the coolest all the time. I can't stand it.
I mean I wouldn't say Louis is immune lol, he used his power and fame as leverage to sexually coerce women. But he definitely isn't egotistical if that's what you're suggesting

Imagine accusing a person of doing what you are doing😂😂😂😂😂 This video was like someone who has never seen the show, got offended, then made a video😂😂😂😂
i am a fan of kill tony but unbiased opinion. As someone who hasnt watched the full video yet (typing this currently at 1:08 in the video) i look at this as; and maybe im wrong... but if you did something for 10 or more plus years and youre at the peak of what you been doing, wouldnt you be excited and proud about everything youre accomplishing and i guess be vocal about it? Now im not saying he doesnt have an ego or does, im just asking and looking at this a different way, feel free to give me your opinion as well.
I think it's the idea of how money and success tend to just make people more of what they are. While it will make most people more confident and alive, the person they become as a result of that varies
Literally, this video isn’t showing us anything new about Tony. He’s a moody little man lol although when it comes to actual stand up I don’t think Tony is the strongest. He’s great off the cuff and doing roast battles though.
im torn between thinking this too and then remembering I've been thinking this for years.. it's just in front of a lot more people now and Tony knows it
He wants so hard to be like the new Apollo theater for comedy or something. But he's just making fun of people putting themselves out there. his speciality is exclusively punching down, because he's not funny enough to do anything else. The funniest parts of the show are when people turn on tony
Yes I do think Tony is becoming too cocky & not enjoyable to watch. Being rude to bad comedians is funny in doses but I feel like he used to be more encouraging and maybe give constructive criticism at times if I remember correctly & that was way better.
I know right it feels like he just started trying to just hurt ppl rather than roast in a savage way but also would give some actual constructive criticism.
Been watching for a while and it definitely gets hard to watch sometimes. I love Tony be there are examples of him doing too much on the most recent episode of kill Tony that legit dropped like 2 days ago
Yeah this is like saying that William Montgomery has changed and gotten so angry ever since he got successful... But he was always angry... It's part of his persona... Same with Tony and the big ego... It doesn't detract at all!
Ive been watching kill tony for years now and tbh hes basically the exact same imo. Some nights hes harsher than others but hes always torn people apart because he specializes in roasting. Its kinda the whole point of what the show is about and what typenof comedian he is. Also he does this show every monday so thats a lot of work especially in the comedy scene where this kind of show is very special.
I actually DO like Tony, ...and enjoy the Kill Tony show itself, its a cool format ... but to continue to push all those unfunny, 5th rate, less-than-medicore, so-called "comedians" on the world is ANNOYING AF! William Montgomery actually has SOME funny material, but David Lucas, Hans Kim and Casey Rocket are UN-WATCHABLE! If I couldnt FFWD thru them, and a few others, ...I wouldnt watch it!
@kidwave1 damn, I love David Lucas. Hans Kim is hit or miss and the longer he was on the show the more he started to miss lol. But the thing is, it's not hard to go up every week and do a good minute, it's harder than people might think. But I can see where u coming from, the only one I disagree with is David because I thought he was quite consistent. Williams strength imo is always the interviews, his jokes during the minute are basically throwaways. I think a lot of the value of the regulars is a combo between their actual material and their interviews though. Ur not always going to have a good minute but ur interview can make up for it if it's entertaining and you can't tell me David and Tony roasting each other wasn't fun while it lasted lmao
@GlitzPixie like I said, he does this every week and does it on the spot... I mean, you can critique him all you want but the reality is not many people can consistently do that week after week year after year. Of course not everything he improvises is going to amazing. It's not like this is a true roast where he's using written material, it's live with mostly people he's never met and knows nothing about. Obviously you're not going to get much nuanced and complex jokes in these situations lmao.

He always hated Jeremiah getting laughs
Yeah I feel like we need to mention that Jeremiah was a band member on Kill Tony cuz I didn't know til recently. They must be buddies, and if you watch the clip in that context its way different.
I think it’s a combo of He hates how happy go lucky he is and also that he’s not particularly attractive yet hes confident and seems genuinely happy .
KT sucked when the band had mics and jerimiah is a ridiculously mediocre comedian at best.

@@AA-xb6uy ¿Que?
Norm was roasting the roast, tho. His was basically a protest of people being mean to his friend. He was a strange guy because other times he had no issue absolutely savaging his friends for a laugh. Weird dichotomy but his thing was to always tell these simple seemingly throwaway jokes that all deepened this bigger overarching joke. Tony just tells simple jokes. There's nothing deeper.

@@gutyourtrusthe does say some unfunny perverted shit but he’s no Opie
You’re referencing MSG yet redban has been a punching bag since the comedy store days…. If anything he’s recently been less of a bag cause I’m sure Tony told him to just be quite more. But when red ban does talk it’s usually dumb and gets a well deserved beating by tony to remind him he does suck. No one should feel bad it’s a shtick and they have been working together for over 15 years … if they really hated each other they wouldn’t be working together.
It's an ongoing bit for the show.
We need Bill Burr to come back on and set Tony straight again. That was so satisfying to watch years ago when he did that.

Jeremiah"Normand" Watkins killed Tony that set 😂
I remember when my cousin told me to check out Kill Tony years back, and I did, I thought it was pretty cool how so many folks were accepting of him being gay.
Fame and money reveal their true colors. There are only few comedians like Gillis, Louis CK who seem to be immune.
Even Chappelle is super cringey with his gangster music intros and mic drops trying to be the coolest all the time. I can't stand it.
Mic drops were always a Chapelle thing WTF you saying haha
I mean I wouldn't say Louis is immune lol, he used his power and fame as leverage to sexually coerce women. But he definitely isn't egotistical if that's what you're suggesting
I personally think Joe Rogan is just as bad. Dude talks about how he grew up getting bullied and how bad it is, and just bullies other people now and savors it. Also a horrible comedian that lacks all self awareness
You do realize roasting is part of the show and it’s part of the reason he got famous. It’s his thing.
Roasting is usually done in a friendly manner..
Tony seems to just be malicious.

Imagine accusing a person of doing what you are doing😂😂😂😂😂 This video was like someone who has never seen the show, got offended, then made a video😂😂😂😂
My humor is broken, this just makes me want to watch more Kill Tony 😂
i am a fan of kill tony but unbiased opinion. Now im not saying he doesnt have an ego or does, im just asking and looking at this a different way, feel free to give me your opinion as well.
i’m 1 minute in and i’m thinking the exact same, surely you need this arrogance and ego to actually push on sometimes
I think it's the idea of how money and success tend to just make people more of what they are. While it will make most people more confident and alive, the person they become as a result of that varies
i was 1 minute in too and was saying the exact same thing…

Tony is really funny in all these clips in my opinion. “How can you hit a flow state” really had me tearing up.
Netflix bragging was cringe but the over the top roasting is a part of the show.
It still sucks and that's the point.
He wants so hard to be like the new Apollo theater for comedy or something. But he's just making fun of people putting themselves out there. his speciality is exclusively punching down, because he's not funny enough to do anything else. The funniest parts of the show are when people turn on tony
Anytime Tony gets one uped you can see in his eyes the amount of hatred he has 😂😂😂
I recently got back into KT, found a comment on a vid from 5 YEARS AGO that I left saying the exact same thing. He's always been this way.
Tony has always been like that, anyone butt hurt by him literally just started watching him
He's getting worse though, somehow.

its comedy, its supposed to be like that
Ive been watching kill tony for years now and tbh hes basically the exact same imo.
Ur not always going to have a good minute but ur interview can make up for it if it's entertaining and you can't tell me David and Tony roasting each other wasn't fun while it lasted lmao
his roasts are often just genuine, unintelligent personal attacks, it's kind of the bottom of the barrel of comedy. Even annoying puns are better
