When throwing a microwave away, it's useful to keep the glass plate, it comes in very handy, if you make a large cake, to use as a cake plate

I'm from Canada and have worked at Costco for 20 year's, I'm loving your happiness whilst shopping, you will love the brownies, they are the best! Make a list, take a bag big enough to carry what's on the LIST! 😂 NO cart! You will stick to the list, get in and out so quick, makes Costco cheaper.. and it's fun to time yourself, make it a challenge each time you go.

I go through phases of using Pesto in everything to not using it at all. To stop it going mouldy (as it did in the first pot I ever used) I keep a small ice cube tray, put a spoonful in each section, freeze it, then pop them out and into a bag and keep them in the freezer so they're always ready to use.

I purchased a similar Ralph Lauren reading lamp, but it is brass for 75 bucks at the US version Home Goods.

I had work at the telecommunications company here for 32 years and during my first year of retirement I took a term job at Costco. I started in membership, moved to member service than finally in the pharmacy. Was there 6 years. I am not a good quitter. Lol. Yes we have that pancake mix her in Canada and also the brownie mix. It is a dangerous place to work. Spent alot on stuff I am not sure I needed. Great fun shopping with you.
The pancake mix is my favorite. I also get the buckwheat too.
If you have a ceramic wax burner for wax melts you can use a teaspoon of Unstoppables instead of a wax melt. The fragrance lasts for hours.

Just got my hubby and daughter in law to gut out and rebuild my kitchen, gone are the IKEA Black units, used their cupboards but had new fronts and drawers made. White is Bright! More cupboards and space saving shelf trays. Now it is a great working kitchen. I realised, I have a thing for cookware! So much, too much! But then, that’s is how cooks roll! Hahaha! 😀👍👍👍
Things purchased from Costco have a no quibble guarantee no matter how long you’ve had it as long as you are a member. We’ve taken electrical things back after a good few years and got an instant refund. No need for a receipt either as they can look up what you’ve purchased from your membership card. Worth considering for the future. Love Costco 😊
Thanks for taking us shopping with you. We had to buy a new microwave last month. Our 15 year old grandson set ours on fire microwaving a bag of popcorn. He walked away from it to get back to a game he was playing on his PS. Teenagers! Have a great day. Hugs from the southeast coast of Florida😎🦩🌞🦩😎

Step away from that jam Luke! Buy yourself some Wilkin and Son Tiptree Jam. My son works in the factory and cooks lot of their products. Their Little Scarlett Strawberry Jam is hand poured into the jars because it is full of fruit. They also do lots of other products that are shipped all over the world! Please also tell Zara how lovely she is looking in this video! I don't know what make up she is wearing, if any, but she looked great!! Much love to you both, and Maggie of course, Soph.x
Best hoisin (I have had) is Koon Chun brand. If they have Dragonfly brand vegetarian Tom Yum paste it is heaven - it makes instant thai soup (just mix into any clear soup) the special ingredient is galangal. And if you can find Tiger Tiger brand Butter Chicken sauce (sauce is vegetarian) it is the yummiest thing ever. Vanilla - a couple of cooking channels have said that imitation vanilla actually works as well as organic vanilla in food. Organic vanilla has a more complicated profile but imitation is directly the main vanilla taste.

I love a spoon holder,that one was very pretty.
We do get the pancake mix here in the USA. Buttermilk pancakes are the best. The Ghirardelli (gear-a-deli) triple chocolate brownies are my favorite. Ghirardelli’s chocolate is excellent. I wish we had Wing-Yip here. You can’t get good Asian food supplies as readily here in the South as you can in California.
Had to laugh at how excited you are about Krusteaz and Costco- both founded in Seattle, Washinton, where I have lived all my life. Your Starbucks coffee started in Seattle too. You would fit right in here. Thanks for all the hard work you do making your videos.

Ghiradelli is a famous chocolate shop in San Francisco, I visited it when we were on holiday,they do the most amazing ice cream sundaes & their chocolate is usually sold in little squares in loads of different flavours. Love the vlog,I’ve just got myself a Costco card so I’ll be looking out for them x

We love Krusteaz! When you don’t want to make from scratch it is perfect! Our US Costco sells it too.

Lovely vlog as always Luke, can i make a suggestion dear friend get yourself a bottle of rum or vodka and some vanilla pods. when you next out and about look out for a glass bottle with the stopper, then you can make your own vanilla extract, this will last for ages and you can refill when needed. The shelf is great idea, making space is always. thank you for taking us shopping with you. xxx
Pancakes, I just make the normal batter fir them but I whisk up egg
Whites and fold them in. Perfect, light fluffy pancakes. Add what fruit you want to the mix. 👍👍👍😀💗
Hi Luke! I like when you take us around shopping. I like to compare your stores there to my stores here in Western Washington State. I know that your TK Maxx has the same parent company as our TJ Maxx, your Home Sense and our Home Goods are also the same parent company, TJX. Who knew? I'm a research mindless trivia looker upper. Your Hobby Craft is not the same as our Hobby Lobby, but looks similar. Your Curry looks like our Best Buy. Costco started in Seattle, (as did Starbucks) where I grew up. So, home town girl, but 30 miles south of Seattle now. My ex husband swore by Krusteaz. That's all he used for pancakes. I also like being polite and nice to the folks who help me in stores, restaurants, etc. They do not have the easiest sometimes and a little kindness goes a long way. Like you, when you were a barista, I worked in retail in my earlier years. I will add that office work can be stressful too when dealing with many of the people that I had to deal with through the years. Many of your viewers can related too, I'm sure. Thanks for all that you do for us to keep us informed and entertained at the same time! Ta ta from Tacoma!

We (US) now have Krusteaz Sweet Cream pancake mix. OMG! Incredible. Light and fluffy.
Ghirardelli brownie mix is great! Just be careful to not overcook. Meant to be chewy not cakey

This was such a fun video!! I am a definite bulk shopper too...got that from my Dad. I'm in the US but my small city doesn't have a Costco...wish we did. I love all of the things that you bought for storage. The spice rack idea turned out great. Love your videos...you are the sweetest, kindest young man. I know your mother must be very proud. BTW the brownie mix is pronounced Gee-ruh-del-ee. It's a chocolate company in San Francisco. I use their chocolate for baking and it's great.

I am still learning to use out microwave as it does has some many options, hot air blast, oven and grill..along with the defrost and heat up. I am a technophobe! But getting there! Hahaha!

I live in Canada and we have the Krusteaz pancake mix at our Costco’s. I love this pancake mix, it’s so fluffy on the inside and you get a lovely crust on the outside. Mix blueberries or any other kind of fruit in with the mix to have blueberry pancakes - yummy.

A microwave certainly does heat things up very quickly and given the zooming cost of energy, it may save some money in the long run, apart from its other benefits. I have never been to Costco. I would really like to go soon! Thank you for the video!

Your Costco is just like ours. The Ghirardelli brownie mix is wonderful and so quick. Since you got so much olive oil, see if you like that in the brownies. I do!
I’d love to see your pancake mix proportions. I never seem to get the Krusteaz exactly right - or is it the temperature. Getting pancakes the right color and cooked in the center (without burning the edges) is a problem.
Try Costco's Chocolate Chip Cookies. They are totally Awesome 👍

What a fun shopping trip! Krusteaz is a pretty common (and very tasty) brand for pancake and muffin mixes here in the U.S. That was definitely worth a stock up at that price. And Ghiradelli is really our best mass manufactured chocolate imho. I usually get Duncan Hines brownie mixes and do some doctoring up on them ; but you'll love the Ghiradelli ones.
Just a thought - maybe one of those Billy bookcase extenders would work on top of your frig to give you more vertical pantry space and then you could reuse it later with your bookcase.

Great haul. I love Chinese supermarkets.We have driven past that one many times on the way to ikea. The cheese snacks are nice you can buy small packs normally 4 for a pound in the range never seen big ones before. I must look for that onion saver next visit to Homesense.

I love Costco - could spend a fortune in there! - we love yorkshire tea too - but if you have a sainsbury near you, they are selling huge bags of 600 teabags for £14. i bought one in early September (when they were £12.50) and it lasted us until early february! this is with two of us having at least 1 a day, sometimes 2 xx not sure of the maths and how they work out but if it's only Zara drinking one a day then she'll have almost 2 years worth in one bag :) 🫖 x and - yes please to the air fryer recipes 🍽
I us trays under all cabinets to pull out to grab things easier.
That brownie mix has gotten high ratings and I have to say, I'm a bit envious. Think 'gear-a-deli' when you see the brand. And, now you know why the carts are so big in Costco! LOL! As for the pancake mix, I've not tried it but I use their waffle mix and love it.

I worked in Starbucks when I was 16 and when I was bored I’d make random coffee drinks to try but caramel macchiato was always my favourite.. underrated drink! Sadly I’m dairy intolerant so can’t drink it anymore (caramel sauce has dairy). Love Costco and their vegan sushi platter is the best!

I'm in the New York metro area but never heard of Krusteaz (crusty doesn't have the best connotation here, could be so old that a crust has formed or worse). But I have also never been to a Costco. Been to Sam's Club which is similar but I believed owned by Walmart which I no longer patronize.
Just got back from town, made myself a cuppa sat down and watched you Luke. Then you picked up the Yorkshire tea from Harrogate which is my home town. How’s that for calmer? Life is good! 👍🥰

Love your shelf rack, I have some bog standard chrome ones I got off fb marketplace for a couple of quid, complete cupboard game changers when you have loads of stuff and limited cupboard space ...blimey we're so easily pleased!!!

I love Costco and yes that Krusteaz is the best we have all that but I don't think that particular tea. Tea but not that. I have the onion I got at TJ Maxx I don't know why it is TKMaxx in Europe I also have a lemon and red onion as well as an avocado and banana one. I love your videos.
Love the cookies at Costco! They used to sell Ghirardelli chocolate cake mix. The icing was delicious & you just added water. They don’t seem to have sold them for some time now. The kids I used to childmind used to love making them & take home a big wedge for their families.
Please do an air fryer recipe video. I got one for Christmas, I bet a lot of people did .
