I so love that reading corner, it looks like a very cozy and relaxing place to sit, sip tea and read. It is so fun shopping with you guys. Thanks for taking us along.
Always love shopping with you and Mr. C! Your reading nook looks so inviting -- I'd love to browse your bookcase, too! True confession: my favorite part of this video just might be the sound of Maggie's ears flapping off-camera at the very beginning. What joy she brings to your life!

Hi Luke, wonderful video! Lovely shopping trip with you and Mr C. I love your library, you guys did a great job of organizing it. I don't know if it was a thing in the UK, but it's good to see the covers of books, instead of covering them with all the same plain coloured paper jackets (I hope I explained that right). Please give Maggie a hug for me, she's beautiful, our little dog passed away at the beginning of February, we feel blessed we had 17 wonderful years with her! Thank you for sharing, take really good care, stay well! Lots of love Kathy x 💖(Ontario, Canada)
I absolutely love when you go out to eat, get to see London. Seeing what you choose, everything looks so friggin good. That sour dough bread looked amazing I think I could smell it through the screen( yumm😋) love your vids , little bit of everything. Travel, food, little Dyi, thrifting, and Maggie 💕 what else is there. Love from Canada 🇨🇦
I too found William Morris wrapping paper in a charity shop. I found 3 matching frames again in a charity shop and framed the paper rather than buying wallpaper. Very cost effective and they look great 👍
Love watching you and Mr C browsing the charity shops. Your little book corner looks so cosy. Love all the eating out ideas as were coming to London for 4 days in June to see Harry Styles so trying to get some ideas for eating out and where to visit on a budget

my wardrobe is 50 shades of grey (with some black) - so simple to get dressed. Just caramelized 10 lbs of onions - am going to watch your onion soup recipe.
So late watching this one but very enjoyable. There are fantastic shops to be found outside of Central. I need to explore more when I come into London. The William Morris papers would look brilliant in picture frames. I fell asleep after 10 minutes of The Independent so I really must go back and finish it.
Lovely video Luke. I love going thrift shopping with you I just wish I could do it myself, but I always think of why did they get rid of it? I know its silly but I really enjoy your videos. Zara - your hair looks absolutely gorgeous!!!! You should have it like that more often it really suits you. Love to you both xx xx and a big kiss for Maggie xx xx
Hi Luke! The bookshelves look great & fit perfectly in that little spot. I enjoy seeing what's in your charity shops because you can find the most unique items & sometimes save some money as well. I also like that you find new things too. It's pretty cool! Best part is everytime you get back home Maggie is always waiting and so happy to see you. ❤ Bless her. Thanks for another fun vlog! If you ever get the chance, you should both come and visit Rochester in Kent, there are some lovely charity shops, especially for vintage items (Wisdom hospice and Demelza charity shops have their vintage boutique shops). There is also one of the worlds largest 2nd hand bookshop! There are also some amazing independent coffee shops. And lots of independent home wares and book shops.. Rochester is only an hour or so away from London!
Love when you and Iwan get together. Wonderful shopping day and finding a replacement for your glass piece that Maggie damaged is awesome. You did very well on this trip. Love that gift wrap book. And your book case looks amazing. It fits the space perfectly. The daffodils are perfect against the turquoise. And that bread loaf is massive but best taste so good. Zara your hair looks beautiful. Have a great weekend. Much love and blessings. ❤❤❤
Hello Mr. Luke, I'm always happy to see you and Mr. C out shopping together. Your bookcases with organization by the colors looks so beautiful! You did a fantastic job!
Next time you at Cannon Street / Bank you MUST go into St Stephen Walbrook Church that you walked past in this video if you haven't been inside yet! It is absolutely stunning inside!!!! Has a beautiful round alter placed in the centre of the church and an incredible dome. The dome was built and designed by Christopher Wren and it was the first dome in England and St Pauls Cathedral dome was modeled on it and built after it.
Reading corner looks great. I have read 50 shades of grey 🙈 I went charity shop shopping at the weekend and picked up two, like new, hardback books for 50p each, they're always a bargain here in NI. I also picked up 2 rolls of Morris & Co wrapping paper for 2.99 each in TK Maxx, something to keep an eye out for when shopping there. I'll probably frame some of it cause it's too nice for wrapping lol 🤎
Great video Luke. I love seeing your videos especially going round charity shops you always find amazing things. Loving your book corner it looks so relaxing. Have a lovely day 🥰x
Wonderful shopping trip great adventure. My granny would make us a beautiful strawberry rhubarb pie every year you should try to make one I know you would love it 🥰!

Love the bookcase and the old books you got, every home even in this digital age should have books. I make my own cards, its my hobby since I retired. Maggie is so lovely to come home too, I have a miniature dachshund who greets me and a Jack Russell who is very unfriendly and hates me !
Hi Luke....what a lovely a/noon spent watching you & Iwan round the charity shops.....they look incredible & so much more interesting than ours around Swindon, altho Cirencester, Marlborough & Hungerford have some good ones. Spent a day at Daylesford organic farm the other day, the restaurant in there is amazing & always get some of their sourdough altho abit on pricey side. Youve made my otherwise boring wednesday so much more enjoyable so thanks for that! Maggie gets so excited to see you when you come back in.....she loves you thats plain to see 😍. Your bookshelf looks beautiful in the reading corner. I love how you color coordinated the books. I always get happy when you give us a peek at the London Bridge. It reminds me of singing and playing the game, London Bridge Is Falling Down, when I was a child. Maggie is so cute. We had a mini dachshund that would play hide and seek with my daughter and I. He was such a sweet and very smart dog. We had him for 13 years. I still miss him to this day. Have a wonderful week. Hugs from the southeast coast of Florida 😎🦩🌞🦩😎
How nice to see that you are busy again. Could it be that you have a winter depression? I myself suffer from that and it seems to go more towards spring (slightly) better with you , but maybe I imagine it ( That bread ;) ) gr Sigrid

I loved this vlog, so many charity shops in London. I think you might have forgotten to include (link) the French Onion soup recipe, it looked so good that I thought I’d make it this week.

Great Vlog Luke! I find getting rid of books a challenge. I do read kind of but mostly textbooks for school. Le petite masion "The small house" in French. I grew up learning English and French but my French is rusty but slowly picking it up again.
Your bookcase came out beautiful and you know what, you could either frame some of that wrapping paper you just got or even wrap a few books on the bookcase in pieces of it. That way the wrapping paper would be out in the open for you to see and enjoy. :)
Hi Luke! I see that you have your new zip up sweater on. It looks good. I have to tell you, I would love to have the smaller charity shops here in Tacoma that you have in your area. They are so nicely arranged. Our large thrift stores can be a bit hap hazard. I would like to see more businesses come into my neighborhood, but it's more apartment buildings that are being built. You always buy fun things. We need t-shirts that say "Member of Luke's Hungry Club" because you make all of us hungry. Oh that bread. So let's talk about the Fifty Shades of Grey book. This Sunday my mother will turn 90. She read that book when it came out. And she bragged about it. So I bought the book at a thrift shop and read it. As I read the book I laughed a lot figuring my Mom didn't understand most of it. Have a great day.
