“It could sound to some people like a contradiction, that you’re speaking out about your own past and trying to help other children avoid being abused, and yet you pleaded guilty to doing something with a younger girl,” she says.
“Of course. But I also think that there is a picture that a lot of people are painting of a cycle of abuse,” he replies. “‘Oh, well, he did to someone else what has been done to him.’”
He considers that a “difficult parallel to make.”
He adds, “I should never have engaged with anybody online, even if I knew what their age was. Anything like that … absolutely should not have happened. But it’s a very difficult parallel to make, between that and what I endured at 14 years old, the physical abuse that I went through, the things that (Peck) had done to me, over, and over, and over, and how dark it got.”

You can tell this interview was the real one where he wasn't dissociating just to tell his story... This interview he stepped back into those feelings he tries to hide from... I don't agree with him about his conviction and his view on it, but I do hope he is maturing now being a dad and facing his past and I hope he is actually trying to protect kids and not just say it... Bc many times the cycle repeats and many times these people love to say something for the masses to endear them for, but they do the opposite behind closed doors...

Yay! Drake Bell, moved to Mexico City where his music is booming! That is so good to hear. I’m very happy for him. It is going to be ok!

I find it curious that he moved out of the country. They never mentioned the 12 year old who accused him... I wonder if there's anyone else.

@@BMFstudiosNYC He only moved to Mexico a few months ago-- years after his sentencing in 2021, if you're trying to imply that he fled the country lol. He's genuinely much more popular in Mexico than in the US, so the move is practical. Regarding his accusation (which they did explicitly mention btw....), I suppose you can come to your own conclusions, but it was dealt with in court so it's not like he's escaping justice.

@@abrubag no, they mentioned the 15 year old, not the 12 year old.

Mr. Bell was there for Drake and protected him as much as he could until Brian’s grooming worked. If the grooming didn’t work Drake wouldn’t have been violated/SA’d. He would’ve been protected because Drake’s dad did not trust Brian Peck’s intentions.

I saw a video of drake getting caught drunk driving. To me that was the first sign something was troubling him.

I agree that Brian Peck deserved a harsher sentence.
Danny Masterson is where he belongs, though. He drugged and assaulted multiple women and used his connections in the church of scientology to threaten, harass and intimidate the witnesses. Allegedly, they even killed one of the women's dog to scare her into silence. Bad stuff.
