    Great to see people making these arguments. I've written many engines and I'm on the eighth generation of my own engine now. For me the engine creation is part of the creative process.

    Hi there! Nice to find this video suggested by algorithm. I like the guest since I am subscribed to Ted's channel and I agree with his philosophy regarding creating your own game engine. It is a tough deal, but in the end of the day, you do not rely on the company that it makes it. It is a strong point that overweight downside like "you need to maintain it". Duh, for me, it is advantage, since it is the way to learn. Speaking of learning, he has also a great video about learning in the hard way, which is the best one for me on Ted's channel. Your channel is new for me, I will subscribe.
