1/4 Cup Cornstarch
1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
Spicy Sauce:
1 Tablespoon Soy sauce

You guys rock.... My wife, daughter and I were down in the Keys last week and constantly thought of yawl while we were down there. Beautiful weather and fished off the dock a few times. Hit all the spots in the Keys and on the way out we stopped for breakfast at Marathon Bagels in Islamorada . Great food.

Dan, speaking of my own experience on the Charter boat, when trolling never take it out of gear. If the fish gets any slack in the line, it usually means bye-bye fish. Just idle forward in Gear. Great video.

Loved your video, so glad you saved the bonito,save every one you catch!As you know, they are a great go to bait when nothing else can be found. Trolling or bottom fishing,just have to have a chest freezer like your buddy CAPT WHICO,sorry if I mis spelled his name. Again thankyou both,tight lines and happy trails!!!
You got that right! I cut the Bonita into strips and freeze them - then use them on a planer rigged with a sea witch.

A nice day of fishing for sure. Those birds that you are talking about at 6:31 are Audubon's Shearwaters. They will put their heads underwater to search for food. They can even swim under water, very cool.
Yes, we have seen them skim the top of the water with just their beaks down in the water.

I'm a new subscriber. I miss fishing. I'm from Maryland and I've been fishing the Chesapeake Bay of MD and Virginia most of my life plus the Atlantic, Pacific and many rivers ,creeks,ponds, lakes all over the US. That fish meal looked good along with that kempshi.

I went out for mahi today and we loaded the box but it was pretty tough to catch them. They were skittish but we still caught a few. This season has not been to hot to be honest
Man, that’s no joke. Everyone we talk to is saying the same… the mahi are there, but you REALLY have to work for them.

Thank you very much! The suction cup rod holders were shown to us by a friend in Iceland. They use them on their 4 wheel drive cars to attach fly rods to them. I just use them to add extra rods to the arsenal!

@@FloridaFishingCouple I first experienced Pontchartrain sauce at a defunct restaurant called Dennis Seafood in Houston. we now eat at Floyd’s when desiring Cajun cooking and Pontchartrain sauce... We have made the sauce at home a couple of times, but it’s pretty involved. i.e., browning flour, and making a roux.
hey guys. I am new to fishing and I have gone dry the last 2 times out. I feel like it can be what i am using. I found birds and weedlines and people catching mahi next to me and I didnt even get a bite. I was just wondering what line and leader you are using plus the lure you have one. Hello Nancy. If others are catching around you then you are either not using the right gear or you are trolling to fast or too slow. Vary your troll between 5 - 8 knots depending on what you are trolling. We typically use 30 lb braided line to a 40 lb mono leader (30 feet) to our lure or rigged ballyhoo with a spring.
