@110_berlin I have been getting nostalgic lately listening to the more recent reavaluating of classic Simple Minds and even their more commercial bombastic stuff sounds really good, but the early stuff you are remixing is pure class,well done in time more people will come to realise just how great this band really was especially between 1979-82 before their more Americanised stuff,although " Street fighting years " in 1989 has a lot of subtle beauty and Political which is fine by me.
This is very cool , I spent some time with Charlie and Micheal as a guest in the demo studio during writing sessions for New Gold Dream and this shows very much how they worked on song ideas , the textures , and sounds .
Fantastic track; excellent work. Reminds me so much of those days when she shifted out of punk into something haunting, full of possibilities, mysterious.. like the Minds, then.....
I think this is my favorite of your many hybrid remixes, forgive my wording, and its my favorite mellow ish track from that period. Also, Earth that you walk Upon, you did very nicely too😊
