Eh. Closer to the Sun in 2005 was incredible cover to cover. And even Everything You Need from 03 is really really hard to beat. And Not Quite Stoned Enough for Breakfast with all the bside and live tracks they've never recorded was so awesome. All if their music is unbeatable haha.
@@cherrymonica28 it's originally SS, it's the hidden track on the first CD (still intact on spotify, listen to "To a Party" @9:50) Bradley recorded the rarity cover right before he died.
SUBLIME WROTE THIS SONG FIRST. IT'S REALLY SAD THAT PEOPLE IN THE COMMENTS OF THE SUBLIME SONG THINK SUBLIME COVERED THIS SONG BY SLIGHTLY STOOPID.. IT'S THE OTHER WAY AROUND.. SUBLIME WAS AROUND BETWEEN 92-96... 🤔💭 it's more than slightly STOOPID 😄 Badasss song anyway.
3 years old comment, but I don't care because you were so sure that you were correct, what with the caps lock and the (not so) cheeky joke at the end. Slightly Stoopid wrote this song first. Actually Slightly Stoopid was still signed on to skunk records at the time. They were all good friends with the guy who owned the label. The story goes that the two guy's who owned Skunk Records had just released a pretty popular album on their label, and heard these guy's when they were still in highschool and signed them immediately. They grew to be pretty friendly with eachother. Of course Skunk Records was owned and opened by Bradley Nowell and Michael "Miguel" Hapoldt, who Brad sings about in a lot of their (Sublime) songs. The two bands supposedly grew to be pretty close, and this was a demo track written by Doughty, released as a hidden track on their first album, and while they were trying to fine tune it, Brad did what he did best, picked up a guitar, and just kinda made shit up as he went. They took a lot of inspiration from the rarities version in their finalized version, but the song was always Stoopids.
👏🏿yes thank Slightly Stoopid they keep it real over the years no glam or fame just real music started from day one

To the 26 "people" who tapped a Thumb Down for this: You are banned from the internet until further notice.
Chronchitis is still their best work. Still, this is better than anything on their previous album.
