- After a whole year since the release of the game, Uber Lilith finally feels balanced - she's not easy at all, but she's also not abysmally hard like in the pre-season. She definitely feels like a proper pinnacle boss now. Some of the QoL changes also make the fight way more enjoyable. The attempt in the video wasn't perfect by any means and I could have significantly improved my gear before attempting this, but it was good enough to get the job done. There are a couple of remarks though:
1. In every 3-4 attempts, Lilith's health bar in phase 1 gets stuck at around 1% and she can't be killed, which voids the attempt.
2. Minions and especially the golem, who is my main damage source, are dying way too often, which makes the fight way longer. Eventhough I was trying my best to not have them killed (moving towards the opposite corner on every platform break and placing blisters in phase 2 in the left corner) they're still dying too much. We definitely need to have a command function to control minion movement, because the AI is just terrible.
3. Uber Lilith still doesn't drop the resplendent spark 4 days into the season, which is kind of unacceptable considering that it's an easy fix.
Although we didn't have a seasonal mechanic (Iron Wolf doesn't really count), the improvements that they've made to the game are a huge step in the right direction and are good enough to make the season worth playing. - เกม

Think it's just for the pit bosses >> mobs before. Pit bosses are getting some damage nerfs. Lilith is just right, it's her mechanics that need to be mastered.
@@pietpadda593 Not when I can tank hits from a level 200 pit boss all day but. Get on shot by Lilith even when I don't have any debuff stacks on me. That's not a skill issue that's just bullshit.

hey you are a real gamer, gg. just a quick question - i see you dont have attack speed on your rings and you got Crit damage instead. is it better? is it worse? is it the same? i am a bit confused. also playing a golem build, cheesing 1st phase with 1bln damage hits, deadge in 2nd phase because i am not a god gamer... will I hit bigger with the crit damage or should i stick to the attack speed?
Attack speed on the gloves and minion attack speed on the weapon should be good enough. You have other sources of attack speed, so diminishing returns will start to kick in if you add even more on other pieces of gear. By the looks of it, you're not struggling because of damage, so I'm not sure if DPS improvements would be of much use. I suggest trying to form a strategy and sticking with it on every attempt. Almost everything is predictable in phase 2, so you can cheese it by abusing the boss mechanics.
The most important thing about phase 2 is controlling the blisters. If you'd like to replicate my strategy, place all blisters in the left corner, so that after the final platform break they're all going to get destroyed by Lilith and before that happens, have Blood Mist up for situations where you'll be forced to go in the cluster of blisters. If you haven't failed on any mechanics or only on 1-2, then standing on top of the blisters isn't going to really hurt you and you stand on top of them after every Lilith ability, until she spawns a blister. With a little bit of luck, the blister on the right side is going to disappear from staggering her, but it's not necessary since it's going to get destroyed after the second platform break anyway.

You want to get 100% attack speed bonus as it boosts the cult leader paragon node. Attack speed on gloves and rings + frenzied dead aspect should get u there.
Amazing kill! I’ve returned after pre season and only managed to kill her back when Bone Spear meta was rampant. Looks like Minions is back on the menu!

Tell me, how do you feel about the "Mutation" and "Infused Golem" paragon nodes. Seems like the maxroll build isn't using them, is there a reason not to go for more golem damage at this point ?
Because they're additive with all other golem damage nodes and gear affixes. If you've min-maxed your gear with tempering and masterworking, you're going to have so much golem damage that those nodes are barely going to be an improvement. If your gear is still weak, it's justifiable to drop the health and stat nodes leading up to them in the Bone Craft board.

How the hell are you not taking damage when you are standing at falling flor at 2:48? If I do that I die instantly, if I stand on the other side I also die, no matter in which spot I stand during this moment I just die, previous verions of lilith didn't work like that, when I was standing where you stand it was fine you just had to take off it just before it completly falls but this is not the case for me anymore.
In terms of when you're safe to cross over to the other side, things haven't changed - you still need to move over after the red stuff has disappeared from the platform. The only thing that has changed is the blister placement and maybe that's throwing you off, because the top blister is placed right under Lilith as she's breaking the platform and it's hard to see incoming bolts from it. If you're not getting hit by the bolts and you're actually dying from the platform break itself, then I suggest immediately moving over to the safe area when the red thing disappears.
@@Kongren94 Started to pay more attention and the thing that kills me are these shadow bolts, I guess these things were not doing as much damage in the past as now.

I feel like iam playing completely different fight... Damage output is very similar with my golem build, yet shes not returning to the platform to be hit, just flying, spawning bs attack and staying imune. And suddenly one hit kills me from nowhere.
Is health capped? Just asking…

I played disco Sorc in season2 and deleted this,have they changed her? Seemed to take for ever to kill?
How’s season4 so far?
In season 2 her health was way too low and pretty much any build was able to delete her. They've changed her in multiple ways this season to make her more challenging and fair:
- It takes about the same amount of time as in the pre-season to kill her with a non-oneshoting build.
- Her former instant death abilities now do low damage at the start, but apply a stacking debuff that exponentially increases your damage taken from everything. Realistically, you're allowed to make 2-3 mistakes at most before you enter instant death territory.
- The four blisters that get spawned at the start of phase 2 get spawned in a diamond shape. They used to spawn in a square formation, which meant that two of them were getting deleted on the first platform break. In other words, you have more blisters to deal with now and managing them is even more important.
- The bolts that get spawned from the blisters now have a blue color, which is a huge QoL change.
When comparing kill times, just keep in mind that my gear was quite weak and it's possible to kill her way faster with this build. After doing a quick search, I stumbled upon a video of a player using the same golem build and got her down in 3 minutes, pretty much skipping all phase 2 mechanics. I simply didn't want to improve my gear, because I knew that it was good enough.
I stopped playing right after killing her and pushing a bit in the pit, since those were my goals for the season, but overall it has been a pretty fun season. If you haven't played it yet, I suggest doing so. Eventhough there's no seasonal mechanic and all changes are related to the base game, it's definitely worth putting in at least a couple of days to try it out, combined with the fast character and glyph leveling.

I have all the damage i guess my 400 less intelligence and 1400 less life is whats holding me back because this is pretty much what im running too. Tried fighting her and got humbled hard.
Did they change this boss this season? I don’t remember Lilith being this hard of a fight. My minion necro has good gear and it shreds other bosses but idk why I do very little damage to Lilith. And my minions always get distracted and attack the blister while golem stays on Lilith. And I can’t even kill the blisters without forcing my golem to come over..
I have to agree. Although I'm playing a minion build which I never have and they nerfed some of her abilities that one shot players, I was not able to burst her down like I was in previous seasons. So she feels a little tougher. I've gotten her down to 10 percent a handful of times but her floating blue orbs in the 2nd phase have gotten me every time.

I keep getting one shot no matter what and my build is about 80%- 90% similar to yours.
I’m so bad at Lilith. Any advice?
It's kind of hard to give proper advice without knowing where you're struggling, but here are some general pointers:
- Make sure your gear and build are good enough for the fight; 30k+ health, armor/resistance capped and enough DPS to quickly kill the adds. Also strongly suggested to have at least 50% movement speed, especially if you're playing a necromancer.
- In phase 1 the biggest issue are the waves - learn their patterns and be quick to react to them. Save your mobility and invulnerability cooldowns for situations, in which just your movement speed wouldn't be enough to save you.
- In phase 2 the most important thing is blister management. The easiest way to handle them in my opinion is by placing all of them in the left corner, like I'm doing in the video, so that they get deleted by her final platform break and have as few blisters as possible for the final part of the fight. Whenever you're forced to go into the cluster of blisters, use your mobility and invulnerability cooldowns to avoid getting hit by the bolts. After the final platform break, it's better to place them in the middle, because you'll be dodging all of her mechanics on the edges of the platform. It's even more important to not have any blisters on the edges, because of the new mechanic that gets introduced at the end. Again, this is just my opinion on how you should be managing the blisters, there might be an easier way to do it, but this is what I've come up with. The rest of her mechanics are kind of self-explanatory on how to handle them.

Second phase is just impossible, there's no way to avoid the glowing balls when she sucks you in, I get 1 shot 100%

Yeah, minion necromancer is the flavor of the season, so there's nothing special about the build. Although, it's a shame that the minion AI is poor and they die to easily avoidable mechanics if you had some control over them.

I tried several times and can't do it the legit way, She one shots me.
Maybe I'm too old, Too much BS happening on the screen to see what is happening, They should tone this fight down it's a joke.
It's definitely a mechanically challenging fight, but I don't necessarily agree that she's overtuned. Maybe if we consider that Diablo 4 is a game that caters more towards casual players, you're probably right, but for me personally Uber Lilith is in the best state she's ever been. In the pre-season even a single mistake was a guaranteed death, now you can get away with two mistakes, maybe even three if you're tanky enough, so it's a lot more forgiving.
Nonetheless, I hope you manage to get her down with enough practice and patience. Realistically, this is still the most challenging boss in the game, if we exclude super high pit tiers, so there's nothing else to put so much effort in.
Can’t one shot her anymore apparently
All tormented bosses and Lilith have that. They have generalized a design of "grace debuff" of some mechanics that you can eat once or twice in the whole fight then one-shots (horned demon debuff stacks, see 4:00 ). And ramping debuff from usual damage.
Not all content is for everyone.
I haven't killed her yet myself but I've started putting in the time. I'm not usually one to do the really tough stuff so it's been really rough. Initially I just died to everything because I didn't see/understand what was happening but now I consistently get to the second add phase where what kills me more often than not is having all the blood spawn out of the adds at once and not being able to get it in time while dodging things. If I get past it I get to phase 2, and then I typically die because the golem keeps dying and I haven't had much practice with mechanics yet 🤣
I hope they don't nerf her, just make it so minions (or the golem mostly) don't die to things out of your control. And also fix the bug where the boss is invulnerable.

how the fuck are you able to damage her??? i get her to 50% hp and when she does the go up and down phase i literally have ZERO time to attack her, my minions always hitting the adds, blood orbs..i literally cant damage her at that time no matter how much i dodge her abilities i just die when i make a single mistake
That's weird, you shouldn't be dying to the first made mistake. They've changed her in such a way that her former one-shot abilities are now applying a stacking debuff, which exponentially increases your damage taken. If you are in fact dying to the first made mistake, I strongly suggest improving your survivability first (armor/resistance capped and 30k+ health).
As far as it goes for your minions, Lilith stops going up and down when you kill the adds, so there's nothing wrong with your minions focusing on them. Not to mention that the volatile bloods have the highest priority, because you must not allow them to explode.
I don't get it, I have pretty much the same build, yet I'm getting one shotted by her normal attacks, and I can't kill blood blisters. Yet I'm doing lvl 60 pits without holy bolt.
I'm doing lvl 80 pits without holy bolt with ease but my necro is still getting the one shot bullshit from lilith. Even when I have no stacks of the debuff.

This video put me to shame. I have better gear than you, yet still I constantly die during the last 5-10% of her healthbar, due to those light balls. Maybe the bat/dash immunity would help...

Uber Lilith is not supposed to drop a resplendant spark, only the tormented version (level 200)
