As a fan I’m so excited to see Coach DeBoer’s first Tide Team with Coach Wommack’s defense. Coach Wommack’s head coaching experience is evident as he is a very polished articulate speaker and a joy to listen to so I know he’s also an amazing teacher for his players. 🏈 ROLL 🐘 TIDE 🏈
I was impressed with how South Alabama played against FSU. Fsu obviously had way more talent but that defense kept them in the game for a long time, backup Qb or not that's Florida State vs South Alabama. I'm hoping he can make our defense elite again.
Wommack is soon to be a formidable head coach at the P5 level. The guy is an absolute guru. I want to keep him as long as we can! Can’t wait for the Sheridan interview y’all hinted at in the video 😉

I'm just glad he understands our fanbase. Offense is cool etc...but you have to make stops on defense. Today's rules make it difficult for defense but most times whomever plays best defensively usually wins championships. Roll Tide!!!

There is some serious talent in the 26 class that bama has to battle LSU, Georgia & Auburn for.. jahkeem Stewart, Kaiden Prothro, Hezekia Harris, justice Fitzpatrick, Aaron Gregory, jareylan McCoy, Shadararius Toodle, Zyan Gibson, Vodney Cleveland should all be Alabama's top targets & they are battles we can't afford to lose.. LSU is on to some amazing talent coming out of there state in 2026 and we need to swoop in and steal em.. Stewart, Fitzpatrick & Cleveland are the 3 i feel we need to get.. were a little behind on the DL recruiting and by the time 26 gets here we will have a big need on the DL when our current depth is gone and we only have our lower rated smaller DL prospects that were recruiting now in 24 & 25.. we need to win those recruiting battles for the DL and a safety like Fitzpatrick is a must have.. and let's not forget those edge rushers were battling Auburn for.. those names mentioned are must have types of players and now is the time to be building the relationships
Keon Keeley and James Smith were both 5 stars and have no choice but to come back. Are you assuming 5 star d-line players/Jr’s LT Overton and Damon Payne will be gone after this year? I think folks don’t realize the amount of talent we rlly have on the d-line. Five 5 star kids (Tim Smith was a 5 star as well) and even more top100 talent on the d-line while no school has anywhere near the EDGE talent Bama does. LSU/Auburn combined don’t have half the talent Bama does defensively. Meanwhile UGA can barely recruit WRs or QBs and have maybe 1 RB that was a former top100 recruit.
