- Taken directly from an in-theater showing of “Elemental”, with the credits from the proceeding “Carl’s Date” short proceeding the logos.
For “Carl’s Date”, you can definitely tell that the change to make the short go to theaters was definitely a last minute decision because not only are the credits 8 seconds long, but also the intro for “Dug Days” is also brief, as proven evident by the “Carl’s Date” logo combo.
The master for the short used on Disney+ corrects this as it features the intro & credits in their entirety, however the BD release of “Elemental” have this theatrical edit left intact.

Your theater didn't use the Pixar Projectionist site if that's the case. They made it clear to movie theater projectionists that the film was SUPPOSED to be in 1.85:1.

That was literally my thought too, it just cut to the credits without any memorial screen? Guess they didn’t have the time to add it in.
They did that for Diary of a Wimpy Kid Rodrick Rules the animated version
I can confirm they did that, but in all reality, Pixar should’ve done one too.

Do you have the opening logo of Carl's date, because i see the short Disney100 logo at the short.
I do have the logo, and it has been uploaded on this channel along with the Elemental logos.
If the THX logo appeared in this movie, it would be the Genesis THX logo before the Disney 100 logo
That would be cool but unfortunately THX don’t do Disney anymore.

It more than likely will, except the only difference will be the fact that it won’t have the Disney100 stuff anymore. It will just say “Disney” by then.

Only on the teaser trailer for said film. The actual movie itself will either use a new version of the “Centennial” logo without the Disney100 branding or will bring back the 2006/2011 logo.
I dunno. He was commenting stuff about these logos being on Blue Beetle earlier.

For context, this is taken from the 2D D-Cinema print of “Elemental”, with the main feature starting at approximately 7 minutes & 50 seconds into the program. The remaining 8 seconds from the proceeding “Carl’s Date” short are also seen in the video.

How was Elemental
It was a solid 8/10 movie, better than what Pixar has been offering lately I must say. Elio seems to be a cool movie too, might be better than this but we don’t know yet.
