Thank you Jackson for sharing your expertise. I'll be performing this on my plant tomorrow morning. Ugh.. lots of blooms, no kabocha.

Thanks for the awesome advice! I like this method the best of what I've been looking up. If I'm lucky I'll get A (one) pumpkin this year, but I'll be better prepared for next time.

Hey I pollinated my pumpkin flower 2 days ago and now the wind blew the flower off would the fruit still grow even thow I pollinated?

Whats the window for pollination? My female flower hadnt even opened before falling off. I went out early 2 days in a row to check but i dont think it had been long. 😢

This is what is happening to some of my pumpkins. Just when I think a few are growing they are small and turn yellow and drop off.. Going by your advice it’s due to lack of pollination! I will be keeping an eye out for new pumpkins and get that male flower to give extra pollination 🤙
P.S. I do have a few successful pumpkins growing which are nearly ready to pick.

Ya sounds like a pollination issue to me, so hopefully your plant puts out some male flowers so you can hand pollinate:) woot for pumpkins!!

Thank you that’s what happens to me last summer hardly any gourds. I dry my gourds and carve them

It was definitely my worst year for summer/winter squash :( this method definitely helped out! :)

What's crazy is that there's bees swarming all over my flowers but I guess my squash just doesn't produce viable female flowers? 😢

I feel like maybe the heat has something to do with it as well. IDK I'm not giving up on them because they are beautiful plants. Just love how they look in my garden even without a pumpkin. 🥲
