In New Englands last football game, their back-up QB Joe Milton passed 22 for 29, at 241 yards, and one touchdown. At the last combine, QB Milton tied the football passing speed record at 62mph.
I'm an advocate of a dark horse candidate for QB. Watching another TH-cam channel, the host advocated for the same guy. While watching final colt game this year, the Eagles and Giants were on the TV next to me. Tanner McKee QB'd the Eagles in that game and he looked really good playing with the Eagle subs as they beat the Giants. I liked McKee coming out of Stanford and thought the Colts should draft him that year. We went with AR, and unlike the Redskins, who drafted Cousins the same year as they drafted Griffin, we didn't consider a plan B, even considering how raw AR was coming out. I think Ballard could offer a day 3 pick for Tanner McKee, and he could very well start for the Colts. If so, if Steichen is really creative, he could turn AR into the greatest gadget player in NFL history.
AR's back injury is no joke! He needs surgery to fix it or it will only get worse. I had the exact same thing. No way he can lead a team like that! We still have a QB problem.
At first I was thinking Sam Darnold would be ideal but the last games were awful and now I have second thoughts about him, Justin Fields is more like a polished type player that the team wanted in AR and could bring the competition and Joe Milton I wanted the team to draft him it didn’t happened but if the Pats are willing to trade him I really would love the Colts to bring him and spark the competition. Either of those three will pose a real threat to AR as the starter.
We could bring in the back up at any middle school and get comparable accuracy. If he comes back still throwing with no touch... Whatever I guess. All of these people would be fine. Fields is the average version of AR, which is miles ahead of AR!
Would be a mistake to spend on a quarter back with the defense so soft coach first and defense free agents available draft the best available then give sam a chance thats how I would like to see it.
I think we need someone who is accurate, that's it. Maybe a little mobile, but accuracy is key. AR won't be pushed if we get someone who is half accurate and half mobile. We need someone that'll push AR to work on his accuracy. I'm a Purdue fan so this is biased, but AOC is a good candidate. He's most likely going to be released by the Raiders as a new regime will take over and they will likely move up and take a QB, most likely Cam Ward (Shedeur Sanders in LV seems like a disaster waiting to happen). So he's cheap and will only be 27, so we could easily sign him long-term for cheap, but he's got a strong, accurate arm. He's got some mobility, probably not as much as one would like, but his accuracy makes up for it.
The Vikings are a much more complete team than the Colts, which is why Darnold works well there. He would just be another can kick for us. I would almost be more into bringing in McCarthy for a 1st round.
IF the Steelers don't resign Fields I still think he is the best option (without having to give up any draft capital) because it would allow Shane to run the same system no mater if him or AR win the starting job. I don't like the idea of giving $30+ million to Sam Darnold after just 1 year of good production. I would not mind trading for a guy like Joe Milton depending on what it would cost. It always comes down to price.
Come on Syn, you’re just mentioning backup names. Fields is the only name you mentioned that can actually COMPETE with AR. Everything else is just ducks and hoping to hit the lotto with them.
Where are say not changing those other two goofballs you might as will just get Jacoby Brissett he’s just as good as the rest of them doesn’t matter doesn’t matter. Do you get rid? Those other two clowns sway is Timo B. Maybe you were shaken by an Exter gamer Cell with his envelopes that might help him out
Im noʻt sure after steelers loss Fields will be available and let's be honest Fields is a backup his accuracy not much better, and hes been in league longer. Whoever we pick, we got to be willing to stsrt them if they do better thab AR. 2 seasons now AR guaranteed the start, when both backups were better. Im not sure Steichen is on board with this competition thing, AR is his pick.
You speak only good about Taylor, and he is a good back. But no one ever talks about the times he runs out of balance 1 yard from the first down instead of trying to get the damn first down. only to come back on fourth down, and get stuffed! Watch the giants game when he did this exact thing in the 2nd half. he was even asking his self' why did he run out of balance. Its cuz he's not as physical as most backs, and he's so used to just running out of balance, and no one to get in his ass about it, you can tell.

Herbert should be put in the Darnold category

Hendon Hooker.
I remember the NFL strike when firemen played for the Colts. We need a firemen tryout. 😂

I counted 34 different Indianapolis Colts starting QB's since 1984. Manning the overt outlier in terms of longevity.
as much as I want AR to workout if it dosent I wouldn’t mind joe milton being a colt

Absolutely I would love to see them bring in Justin Fields !
Sterling is saying JT might be gone
Jaxson Dart, he passed better than Manning at Ole Miss and runs like a mini Allan. We should draft Jaxson Dart

As long as money comes in they are ok sitting
After watching how Sam Darnold played the last two games I’m having second thoughts.

Tyler Warren

What’s good fam

i mentioned every quarteback on the list, lmao. thats free agency brother
Justin fields should be the man
AR can't take the hits. Sam has played better and surprised me as well. He caught my attention with improvement.
I would rather have a passing quarterback

Y'all always talking about Anthony Richardson that doesn't surprise,he played better than some of Them Quarterbacks that y'all dwell on so much
Get Justin Fields I love AR but make him QB 2 for now

Just keep Richardson
Sam was horrible lol
Darnold moves too much in the pocket runs himself into a lot of sacks...Draft up Will Howard he is better than AR "today"
I think we need to be thinking about a quality starter and forget the backup mentality. Richardson is not the future of the franchise he’s to soft.
They have options. None of them are good .Richardson is a bust.

Bro it is bounds not balance.
