Natural Capital Initiative: Biodiversity net gain policy across the UK

Amy Wright, principle ecologist at Native Ecology, discusses the biodiversity net gain framework developed in England. Following this, Simon Brooks, strategic planning manager at NatureScot, introduces the approach set out in the Scottish Government policy.
This is the first event of a new series from the Natural Capital Initiative (NCI), held on Wednesday 20th September 2023.
