Hazrat Shaykh Humayun Hanif Db pursued his Cambridge Ordinary Level and Advanced Level education at Karachi Grammar School. He then undertook the study of Business Administration before joining his family business.
He entered the Naqshbandia Sufi Order in 1991 and in a span of less than three years was granted Ijazah (authorization) by his mentor Hazrat Maulana Shamsur Rehman Al Abbasi Naqshbandi Ghafoori Db, thus becoming his Shaykh’s first Khalifa (Representative).
He has remained in very close company of his Shaykh for over 28 years.
Travelling widely, he has been blessed with the company of various honorable scholars.
In 1997 he was also given Ijazah (authorization) by Hazrat Dr. Ismail Memon Madni Db (Khalifa of Hazrat Shaykh ul Hadith Maulana Mohammad Zakariya Kandhalvi RA)
Hazrat Db has various engagements in which he delivers talks and lectures to guide the seekers .His lectures cover issues currently faced by the ummah as well as the righteous way of living according to shariah.
He is constantly available to his students for their guidance, reformation and path to purification.
Hazrat Db retired from business at the age of 50 and since then has his time fully on the propagation of Islam and the purpose of reforming lives.
