Another awesome video Piet! Years ago we had a group of Farmers tour our dealership and they were from The Netherlands. Very interesting chatting with them. They toured the Versatile tractor plant in Winnipeg and then came and toured our dealership,
I live in Winterpeg also and yeah Versatile and Mac Don are 2 huge worldwide companies now.
I have friends in The Netherlands and they said there were lots of Dutch immigrants in the 60's and 70's who settled in Saskatchewan and the Prairies. Mostly Germans and Poles and Ukrainians and French and English coming to MB then. Now we have the whole world coming here and that is good.
Very interesting. I'm glad you were able to bring the boys to the Netherlands to see their great-grandmothers and everyone. I was like they are, with parents from Ireland, and it meant a lot to go back there often to meet everyone and stay connected.

The tanker is insulated very well.

Great video. That milk tank on the tanker looks extra long? Is it as long as a B train semi trailer and specially made. How many US gallons does it hold. As a Canadian I am bilingual when it comes to liters and gallons. LOL.
I'm not sure exactly how long it is, but it's an 8400 US gallon tanker.

That's about 7000 Canadian gallons and a lot. Because it may not have to go far inside a city I imagine it can be extra long. We have semis towing 3 trailers where I am as long as they just go from the major interstate highway to a terminal on the outside of the city.
why did you not say that you would visit the Netherlands. I would have invited you for a dinner to chat a bit. I could bring you to a Turkish restaurant. Damn. Missed chance
I appreciate the thought! I would enjoy meeting some of the people that watch the videos, but it's difficult to find the time for that when we're only there for short time.
