    Excellent review apart from the one flaw that I pointed out. Thank you.

    Great review. I’m in the UK and a couple of weeks ago I had a MYP on loan for a day and over night and liked it a lot. The only downside for me was the excessive road/tyre noise. I have a BMW X5 45e and that is silent compared to the Tesla.
    It’s a nice place to be, though and felt well built and finished (it was a brand new Shanghai model). Although it was quick, it didn’t quite have the urgency of the BMW i4 M50 which I drove back in December. That was brutally quick compared with the MYP although they have, on paper, similar acceleration figures.

      Thanks for your real world inputs. I haven't had the pleasure of driving an i4M50 myself yet, but I'm looking forward to the experience.
      Thanks for watching.

    Excellent balanced overview. I wonder if Berlin is making rhd cars for the UK market.

    Great and honest review, got our MYP for one month now. Parking without sensors is not easy, automatic wipers go sometimes crazy indeed. Headlights hardware are matrix but not fully functional wright now, should come sometimes in a update 🤞. Would by this car again 👍

      Thanks for your inputs, and for watching.
      I would also think that the lack of parking sensors is a disadvantage. The headlights in the Model 3 have had Matrix hardware since late 2020 and the feature has still not been unlocked. But one can always hope.

      Lol. 10% to 80% in 30 minutes is good enough. If I go into the service station for a dump it will probably have 60% already. And V3 chargers are coming.

    Was battery preheated for charging test? At 10% you only get 194 kW, should be 248 kW. At 20% you get 162 kW, should be 180 kW and so on. With preheated battery charging from 10 to 80% should take only 29 minutes. Also don't quite understand your reference to Model-T. Everyone wanted one and it is what made Ford great. You present that as a disadvantage?

    • @jimirosa
      @jimirosa  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it was preheated. I peaket at 7% at 218 KW

    • @jimirosa
      @jimirosa  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not a disadvantage. Just a car Build in a simple and Quick Way.

      @@jimirosa A preheated battery takes 250 kW at that SOC. So preheating was not finished when you started charging.

    • @jimirosa

      Thanks. The hardware in the headlamps is ready for Matrix But it’s just normal low/High bean for now. Many a softwareupdate Can help…

    Hey Jimi! Does the car emit a HIGH PITCH NOISE when you drove this in cruise-speeds? (70-100 km/h)? :) Or is it silent motorwise?

    • @jimirosa
      @jimirosa  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Edwin.
      I only noticed a high pitch sound on hard acceleration.
      Thanks for watching

    • @Eddysneddy222
      @Eddysneddy222 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jimirosa Awesome. Yeah, that is quite normal I think. But I mean a high pitch noise when driving normally in "cruise" speeds? If you had any disturbances?

  • @mhsohel47
    @mhsohel47 ปีที่แล้ว

    Your battery was not in optimum condition (may be little cold, need 25 to fully preheat) to charge it in 10-80% is 26-28 minutes. And it can add more miles at the same time than every other ev on the market. Every other charging has proven that. And 79 kwh is usable not 75 in the new 82kwh battery pack and it is more efficient.

    • @jimirosa
      @jimirosa  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm sorry to say, but a friend of mine has this same car and he doesn't charge faster than i do in this video. He has driven close to 10,000 km in his car now. In this video I peaked at 218 KW at 7% SoC but it's for such a short time that it can't be used for much. Tesla's charging curve is just pretty extreme.

    Stupid reviewer: the bonnet is flexible for pedestrian safety. To save lives in case a human is hit, the soft frunk cover will save a life. Hence, highest safety rating in ALL categories ever. The car is designed for the safety of not only the occupants but pedestrians as well.

    • @jimirosa
      @jimirosa  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks But: Several engineers have expressed to me, that safety for pedestrians can easily be solved differently and that the bonnet is more an expression of cheap and light construction

      @@jimirosa Those engineers work for companies with cars with lower safety ratings. Teslas have better safety rating than ALL competing German car companies. Go by the facts, they NEVER lie. People might.
