Hi, I have Skoda Superb 2.5Tdi 120kw BDG engine, are these manifolds necessary to buy on this engine? I would like to have 300Hp on mine. What do you think?
@@thomas_s85 hard to tell if it works out because the stucture is quite odd on stock manifolds. Quite a job i think. Probably with the same time and effort new manifolds are done 🤔
OK thank you for the information I can get the Turbo with vac conversion brand new but they saying it should be run on a tubular manifold I will try and find some nozzles and see if I can find someone to fabricate me a manifold but is it OK to contact you when I wand to buy the exhaust manifold and Turbo collector pipes and thank you for your help
hi there. I'm affraid there are no manifolds available anymore. The welder who made those did garbaged the jig for those already since nobody wanted those for years. :) I should have some flanges left if wanted
@@bigdiffas ahh thats ashame. The flanges might be handy but im not sure. Im not running crazy power just about 260 and do have a turbo coming capable of 280, so was just wanting to future proof the car a bit! Might just try and get some oem manifolds

hi I am finding it hard to find information on tuning my engine it is a 2001/2002 A4 2.5 tdi V6 180 bhp I am wanting to tune it to 300 bhp is this possible and what would I need to do in order to get this power from it any information would be appreciated
+Ian Preston Hi, Basic recipe is "easy". You need big turbo, big nozzles and supporting mods. Basically turbo like GTB2260VK converted to use vacuum, bigger nozzles for example from CPC (even they have some quality issues) or buy AFB injectors and install Bosio Race683 nozzles. Supporting mods are bigger intercooler, cleaned and not worn heads, 4 bar map and Some ecu tuning is needed too.
Full Sre-clutch set with stock flywheel seems to work out pretty nice. Takes 700+nm easy. When using small turbo like 2260 you probably need to limit torque under 2000rpm to somewhere 400-450nm

Hi, whats your power goal? There are not that many anymore available. You probably have bdg engine so cummins oe dsla142p970 is good option to go

@@lithsooo with good tune 280 doable with cummins nozzles. Also external lift pump with around 300-350l/h 1.2-1 5bar

To be honest i feel it is must. I have destroyed two turbos because manifolds and it was around 300hp range

+Ian Preston Tubular manifolds are nonsense in diesels. You want to keep manifold as short as possible and not to loss any flow and heat.

Well fin-turbo can make you bolt on turbo for you current collector or you have gtb2260 already in your hands?

For v10 or v6 engine? There are no jigs for 3.0tdi or 5.0tdi engines, so not possible to weld them. This set is for 2.5tdi v6, touareg has 3.0tdi v6
