I'm not Mormon, I'm a non denominational christian. I believe Jesus Christ is Lord of lords and King of kings. This morning I was praying and decided to open up the bible. I feel like the Holy spirit led me to Joel chapter 2 and 3. I felt He was telling me that Jesus is coming soon and to warn the people. I made a post on Facebook and tik tok about it. Later on this morning, my dad (who lives with me) told me he was going to send me this video and had no idea that the Lord led me to joel 2 this morning. I feel this is huge confirmation from God. Jesus, our King, is coming back soon. Do not fear, He will provide and Hev will protect. Trust in Him. In Jesus name, Amen ❤

@ChristianHomesteader I was actually born into the lds church. I've personally found contradictions in mormon teachings vs the word of God. One thing I do know for sure is that Jesus Christ is The truth, the way, and the life. No man comes to the father but through Him. (John 14:6) So He's who I look to. The Word is God and the word was manifest through Jesus Christ. (John 1:14) He is God according to the new testament and Mormons don't believe that so I'm no longer mormon. Just to clarify there is no hate or ill will toward those who are lds. I just see too many contradictions to follow the teachings of the church. I do want to say that I did enjoy this video regardless.

Listening the the YT channel Saints unscripted he has a companion channel..I forget the name .something about "light" I think. He had a church historian with great insights into the more realistic way the prophet and leaders receive revelation and how if we do not begin to really understand this we will be pef away. It is so much more subtle than even we know. There is rarely huge magic moments involved. It reminded me of how the people in our church .and out..thin others ngs will happen cause mpared to it actually happing in front of us. It is all a miracle if you see it but so frustrated ng to help pthers understand it. Even in our own church.

Random question: could a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints be a Jewish priest or vice a versa?
The office of "priest" has already been restored along with the entirety of the Aaronic Priesthood. The offices of "teacher" and "deacon" would correspond to the duties of the rest of the tribe of Levi.
A Jewish man can join the church but does not inherently have the priesthood. They would have to receive it with the laying on of hands by someone with the proper authority. 🌻 🎃 🌻 🎃 🌻 🎃 🌻

I'm really, really looking forward to the Second Coming. What will happen before the Second Coming, though, isn't looking pretty by the looks of what the Scriptures and Bible say.
Is it true there's a 7-year period of tribulations and that the Saints will need to hide in Mountains at a certain point in the last times? I'd love to know, 'cause these thoughts cause me a lot of stress.
I think in some ways we are numb to the tribulations around us. Things have been slowly ramping up for longer than my life, that I sometimes forget a person from a century ago would be horrified. I feel the "boiling frog" comparison explains it well. I don't know if I would say we are for sure in the 7 years, but it also could be starting. I am not eloquent as I'd like, but hopefully I got my point across
7 year tribulation as a specific number is not our church teaching. Having said that.... the scriptures that other Christians say explain a 7 year tribulation have happened/are happening.

@@cocomeow1926 I choose not to worry about it because I know that the purpose of having prophets is to prepare and warn the people. They see what's coming. If things got to the point where we would need to "run and hide", we would have already built temples there so we could continue the work.
I think people forget that this time it is and will be a victory for Christ and His people. Will it be easy? No, but nothing worth achieving has ever been easy. Will it be utter desolation? Of course not. Elijah came with the sealing power specifically to avoid that level of destruction.
All we really need to do is follow the Prophet. I take great comfort in the decreasing amount of time our food storage is recommended to cover. I see that as another way that the prophets are letting us know that we're getting through it. There's still more to get through, but I personally feel that this last talk from President Nelson was the light at the end of the tunnel.
Another idea....the Jews were unprepared for His first coming because they were expecting something different. Are we doing the same thing in our preparation? Do we see past the symbolism to the actual meaning of the prophecies? Do we set an expectation or requirement for God to fulfill His words in a certain way?
Let's not miss the majesty of the moment because we were fearful of what might happen. Follow the Prophet, put your faith in the Savior, and trust God to fulfill His words in a way that benefits those who do His work.
Hopefully the hiding in the mountains has been being fulfilled since the saints moved to the rocky mountains.

Hey friend, Godly music doesn't always have to be slow and quiet. Psalms 150 shows that we can praise God with loud instruments like the trumpet and cymbals. The intro music has nothing ungodly about it. Even though it's not praising God, there's nothing wrong with the instrumentals. I encourage you to read psalms 150 and glorify God with loud praises and lovely fun music.
