Without a doubt the best documented instructable on this site. Excellent job on your presentation and a beautiful end product. Again great job, I will be making this!!
Step 1: follow the first step and create your first wave. Step 2: Once youre done with the 1st wave, just repeat the process starting 7:01 untill 9:43. Then go to 14:09 for the next instruction
great work. I got addicted to watch all your videos and has already ordered paracords and buckles to have a go. Thanks for the sound, video and clarity with great technique and patient. You are my favorite paracord tutor!!!!!
A very easy to follow informative instruction on making a paracord belt. I have made a couple myself but wish I had had these instructions when I started.
Thanks for taking the time to make the video. It was slow enough even I could follow it. Some videos are so fast I can't follow it. Great job. I just got done making 2 belts for xmas gifts. Thank you
Excellent work ! I was wondering , instead of using 6 strands of Paracord to make the belt , can You use 4 strands of paracord ? obviously the belt will be a little thinner but can you use 4 strands ?
Thanks for this great video! Very relaxing to watch, too. Can't wait to make a belt like this. For those puzzled @00:50: 'comared' is not some special technical cord-knotting term. I think it should read 'compared'.
Just finished the belt today, it was a big one. Turned out real nice. Like the fact if you lose or gain weight, you don't have to keep punching holes in the belt. LOL Very good video. Thank You
Whenever I tie longer items, belts, dog collars etc., I like to hang the buckle over two hooks. Two because the buckle slides about on one. I like the way these tutorials are produced. I find explanations distracting.
great tutorial! Just one question. Can you use any style buckle you want such as a western or cowboy belt buckle style? or does it have to be a clip style like you used in the video?
I do paracord for a job. And i don't like to copy people so I added my own twist. And also I am doing a belt smaller then your it is 37 inches and the two outter stain that are 40 where not long enough
New Subscriber. Love the belt. Now I wanna make me one. Question, how do you determine how much paracord you gonna need for this belt? I need my belt to be a 54. TIA
made my first belt using this tutorial. came out kind of funky but as first tries go I think it went rather well. Thank you for the nice tutorial music kinda makes me sleepy I should try to remember to turn the volume off. lol
I still haven't figured out the whole point behind boiling Paracord before weaving but you definitely want to boil your cord BEFORE weaving as the chord radically shrinks. Typically a piece will tighten more with use, or so I've found... Hence the reason a wrist band, (for example), will get harder the longer it is worn
ah so its basically interlocking square knots with a black core running through them... thats cool. "right over left, left over right, makes a knot proper and tight"

great work. I got addicted to watch all your videos and has already ordered paracords and buckles to have a go. Thanks for the sound, video and clarity with great technique and patient. You are my favorite paracord tutor!!!!!
+Didar Rehal Thank you!

Very cool. Love the belt. My wife told me I need to make one. Thanks for the video
Thanks a million for your help. But, how to find those types of lacets?
Excellent work ! I was wondering , instead of using 6 strands of Paracord to make the belt , can You use 4 strands of paracord ? obviously the belt will be a little thinner but can you use 4 strands ?
Finally, a great quality paracord belt video! Nice
Thanks for this great video! Very relaxing to watch, too. Can't wait to make a belt like this.

+R Hartogs Yes, it should... thanks!
Took me a minute to figure it out as well Hartogs :-)
Thank you for your tutorial. I have made the belt accordingly and am very happy with the result.
nice video sir.. helped me alot didnt need to rewind anything you did.. good job sir..
Just finished the belt today, it was a big one. Turned out real nice. Like the fact if you lose or gain weight, you don't have to keep punching holes in the belt. LOL Very good video. Thank You
or buy a new 1.......
Hello dear friend, congrats on your excellent work? I wonder, how could I make a belt double this width?
This is great video.
Clear instructions and easy to follow. Finished my first belt today.
I say awesome work and i did not know that a balt can be made with some para cord and thanks for the video.
Very nicely Done made one and I still ware it trying to figure out how to put knife blade at the end of the tang
What kind of scissors are these and what is their purpose with the wider blade? Thanks!!
duckbill sheers
if i were to make this with out the rattler at the end would i need to use the 4 lines? or could i use 3?
Wow beautiful I love it thank you for sharing ❤
What kind of scissors are you using in this video?
Thank you for the great tutorial 👌🏻
I'm glad it was comared and measured against a belt. ;)
What size belt does this make, not the inch size but the size you might list in a store?
now my OCD has become more impressed I'll be trying out this belt style now!!
Yep, it's a year on, but what size buckle?🤔
There is a lot of ideas out ,,,,but i am looking for a really unique Guitar strap idea,,,any thoughts?
How about the king cobra but extra long?
awesome tutorial! I've been wanting to make a belt for a long time now.
How long should the cord start at to make a 40" belt? Absolutely the best video I've seen on these.
+Bill Straight Start in the middle of each cord. I would still use the recommended cord length. Assume more waste for large projects.
+Paracord 101 This video explains how to calculate this: th-cam.com/video/_28xKY7NHXE/w-d-xo.html
Thank you very much for sharing this. I appreciate you.
Todd! Easy to follow. Great video. Thank you! Give us more...
Can this be 'quick release'... If so how is that done. Cheers :)
Excellent tutorial. Easy to follow.
If I have 36 in the waist, which is about 94 cm, how many centimeters do I have to have a paracord?
Sukses selalu dan sangat bagus sekali tutorial nya
The video doesn't show if the tongue is on top or bottom of the buckle. How do I start with a western style belt buckle?
+Bill Straight You should be able to start the same way.
Lindo trabalho. Como fasso pra conpra essas agulhas
I did it really really tight. I think it is because after ever inch I braided I pushed it up.
Mi pana no me canso de verlo este video está brutal
Whenever I tie longer items, belts, dog collars etc., I like to hang the buckle over two hooks. Two because the buckle slides about on one. I like the way these tutorials are produced. I find explanations distracting.
the two outer black hordes of what size they are
so is this just a double cobra belt with a rattlestrap ending ?
Is there formula to get the measurements
out standing job thanks for the information got too try this out wow.. thanks again .two thumps up
How much cord of each color for a 38 inch waist?
Where can I find the buckle like the one used in the video? I have done some internet searches but could not find it.
+dawnslight1027 link: goo.gl/yh7CGW
great tutorial! Just one question. Can you use any style buckle you want such as a western or cowboy belt buckle style? or does it have to be a clip style like you used in the video?
Yes
Thank you much for this video it is very time consuming but im getting it down lol
So two cobra weaves with two alternating strings?
How many feet of cord would it take for a 32" waist?
muito bom
vou fazer no meu relogio , que ja esta com a pulseira velha
If I wanted to make a black one solid color. I am not sure of the measurements? The waist size would be 46.
muy practico util y como hobby muy entretenido
what type of para-cord was used to make the belt?
Excellent tutorial.
Quantos metros de psracoda de cada vai ser
hola por favor alguin que me diga cuantos metros me gasto en español
Great video i love my belt that i made from this thanks!
I do paracord for a job. And i don't like to copy people so I added my own twist. And also I am doing a belt smaller then your it is 37 inches and the two outter stain that are 40 where not long enough
If it is not long enough, then you did not tighten it as tight as I do. So, you will have to take note and keep this in mind for future projects.
Why you put the black cord for what?
What a great tutorial! Thank you!
I made my 550 belt years ago, it has lasted over 6 years+. it's the only belt i own
New Subscriber. Love the belt. Now I wanna make me one.
Question, how do you determine how much paracord you gonna need for this belt? I need my belt to be a 54. TIA
I have this question too. What is the scaling for longer belts?? Thanks!!
made my first belt using this tutorial. came out kind of funky but as first tries go I think it went rather well. Thank you for the nice tutorial music kinda makes me sleepy I should try to remember to turn the volume off. lol
Do you boil your paracord? If so should I boil it first or after the belt is finished? Thanks in advance!!
I do for belts but not bracelets.
Paracord 101 what is the purpose of boiling?
Thank you! Do you make the bracelet first then boil it or boil the cord then make the bracelet? Thanks in advance!!
I still haven't figured out the whole point behind boiling Paracord before weaving but you definitely want to boil your cord BEFORE weaving as the chord radically shrinks. Typically a piece will tighten more with use, or so I've found... Hence the reason a wrist band, (for example), will get harder the longer it is worn
do u follow the 1" = 1' rule?
Cuantos metros ocupó aprox para uno de esos
What's the blue stuff?
What is the size belt buckle you use?
1.5 inches
thank you
cuanto de hilo utiliza para cada uno
Hello. What is the diameter of the rope ?
it's 550 type III parachute cord, look it up.
Excelente gracias

Please watch ALL of this video... th-cam.com/video/_28xKY7NHXE/w-d-xo.html
sirve para ponerle de collar a un pitbull???
is it possible to do this without the needles?
+the cube freak It is possible. You can try to use forceps, very small needle-nose pliers...
+Paracord 101 ohh okay I did not think of that, thanks! Maybe sometime in the future I'll get some actual needles.
+the cube freak It is not tucked. It is cut and singed just like a bracelet would be. Thanks for asking.
took me a week but soo worth it
yep, took me a week or so to make my belt, best belt i have ever owned/made
internal string measurements
Great vid, keep up the good work!
how do you finish off the last loop at the end of the video?
+the cube freak Can you be more TIME specific...
+Paracord 101 The loop you start at 26:20 , how do you hide the paracord when you finish tying it?
скажите, какой длины паракорд
could I make this with and actual belt buckle? (cowboy style)?
+Logan Brickey I have seen some Wide Solomon Paracord Belt tutorials with cowboy style buckles on Intructables. So... YES!
Okay thank you very much, and that is a very cool video, I'm thinkin about making a paracord business!
+Logan Brickey Good Luck, Logan!
ah so its basically interlocking square knots with a black core running through them... thats cool.
"right over left, left over right, makes a knot proper and tight"
