Congrats on 20k!🎉I stopped playing modern YGO several months ago but my locals has been hosting Edison format and I’ve been having a blast, it’s great to be back in the game
You have the genuinely most underrated and impactful channel in the entire community. You seriously deserve huge amounts of respect across the 'board' ;) x
Congrats on the 20k big man, been watching since your first handtrap vid and it's awesome to see you come this far! Keep up the awesome work you're very cool and super helpful!
I’ve been really enjoying how in-depth and rational your videos have been. Have you considered making any Edison format content? I would think a player of your caliber would have much to offer this growing community and wonderful format!
Very informative GG! I like that you mentioned "out-siding" your opponent. I always sided in Cosmics when I played Fluu a while ago when I anticipated Anti-Spell. They would see I had the Cyclone and scoop 😂 The worst is rarely seeing your side, as if the cards aren't in the mood to help 😂😂
Another aspect is that your engine can vary depending on whether you go first or second. This is often the case with Rikka Sunavalon lists that play around 45 cards. Going first, you often play 3 Rikka Petal, of which you side out one to have a higher chance of being able to break your opponent's board. Since you draw a sixth card, your chance of bricking is still about as low as before.
I agree that it's very important to know what kind of decks your local scene likes to play. During near the end of Kashtira format -- even right before Nats, our local scene just straight up didn't like playing the deck. So picking Drytron, Tear, etc. and cutting the anti-Kash tech like BOM/Eclipse for local tourneys was actually a legitimate strategy in my area. If time after time...every time you go to locals you don't see Kash and you KNOW the regulars aren't on the deck...that's free information that you should use -- conventional theory be damned.
@@SupremeKingToshiroevery single side deck card is an overpowered blowout card lmao. Anti spell, dark ruler no more, evenly, judgement, duster…etc these are all sacky cards

This is the first I’ve heard of side decking. Thanks for the info.
6 cards for 6 is solid, then there is me siding 12 cards and still doesn't see side board. Solid advice good to know for future reference.
Thank you siding is one of thr things I have trouble with most. Also congrats on 20k!

To your point at 11:30, I think thats called counter-siding. And it really is a skill.
Side for the matchups you struggle against too

I haven't delve too far into Edison. I usually just play pick up games
One of the best videos with great tips! Content is non-comparable

The community needed this

Now with the how to side video we have gone full circle. Thx for the amazing content!
Toronto regionals are on Saturday so this seems pretty well timed
handtraps, with exeption of nibiru, are generally the best utility cards cuz thay can at the very least be used as extra interuptions going first
if i have a floodgate i like playing going first, is it better to have three copies of it, or two copies of it plus a spell that searches it?

Love your vids bro !! 💙🙏🏻
nice video! When u play vs Rescue Ace with the List Purrely Fluffal, where is best do Herald of Orange Light? Hydrant or first monster effect?
Turbulence always. Unlike nib and imperm/veiler they can't s:p dodge it either
WOW thank u! :3 @@minnayuan2591
Legendary video!
Congratulations on 20K
Clutch for the CT regionals
There's too many decks to side against we need extra slots
Great video
This always confusing me
What makes you so confused, if I may ask?
I think Ygo would be better without siding 😶
Hot take, sir. I respectfully disagree with you
