I got an interesting idea. What if Princess Quest is not meant to have a definitive answer? But rather PQ has many interpretations. For example just as there is evidence for the Princess being Cassidy, what if the Princess also symbolizes Cassie? Now this may sound weird but hear me out. RUIN shares a variety of connections to PQ. Let´s break it down. The entirety of Princess Quest 1 revolves around a girl (Cassie) exploring a crumbling castle (collapsing Pizzaplex), lighting lanterns (breaking security nodes) while black rabbit creatures try to stop her (MXES). In the end it turns out that the rabbits were trying to stop her from unleashing a greater evil (MXES was keeping the Mimic contained) and after her journey, the Princess finds herself before the monster (Cassie frees the Mimic and is chased by it) before being consumed by the purple aura (Cassie falls down an elevator shaft and her fate is left ambiguous). And you already mentioned that, but Princess Quest 2 starts in a cave-like environment very similar to that of RUIN´s ending. In short, the PQ machines may also be prediction machines, revealing how the rest of Cassie´s story might play out.
@@VaguelyRowlet Thank you. And the grave area could also symbolize the voices Cassie hears while in AR. There were plenty of people killed in the Pizzaplex after all, and knowing that the Caution Bots are confirmed as possessed via the game files, it´s not far fetched to say that Cassie is hearing whispers of ghosts. The same thing actually happened in FNaF: AR´s remnant collection mode. You can hear the very same whispers, when you´re collecting remnant in that game, that Cassie hears in the network. She is literally walking through a metaphorical graveyard. Just like the Princess.
“The important thing here is that he cannot play princess quest.” As the background footage shows someone miserably failing to play princess quest Fr tho that puzzle kinda sucks
I’m not sure I understand why they removed tapes in the mobile version? Don’t they still have collectible coins in the mobile version? I don’t get why they’d remove a specific collectible type - especially one that has significant lore implications... unless it was intentional.
FIRST
I dig it. I feel like lore post Help Wanted is just super all over the place.
That's a good theory about Cassidy being the princess, I never really thought of it that way.

The Entity isn't actually directly confirmed to be apart of MXES but your points still stand
@@gaminganimators7000 Well judging by how we see "the Entity" come out of the MXES machine, I'd say it's pretty obvious.
@@zavoywilliams3313 Yes.

Honestly I totally forgot that Princess Quest had plot relevance lol. This is a really interesting take!

Nice job on this theory very well detailed.
Thank you!
