The screaming backup vocals were Kate's. Nobody Screams with such authenticity and subverbal impact. Her screams are filled with meaning. I know everyone is saying do, "Running Up That Hill"! I'm going to suggest a different direction. RUH has been done incessantly. Great song, but it is starting to narrow the world's perception of Kate. I think I can call her Kate now. I'm that ridiculously into her music. Can I persuade you to take the path less trodden? Try "Night of the Swallow", "Get Out of My House", "Pull Out the Pin", "Delius", "The Kick Inside", (the video), it's amazing, and maybe check out the live version of "The Wedding List", where she had a wardrobe malfunction for the Prince Charles annual thing with Phil Collins on drums and Pete Townsend on guitar. She didn't miss a beat. Her top came unhinged and she just kept belting it out. You can do the stuff everyone's done, or you can dig a little deeper.
I absolutely agree. All the tracks listed have been my most top favorite of hers too & agree that RUH has been highlighted long enough now. May I also add "The sensual world", "The fog", and "Breathing". -With love from Chicago 💫💞

Kate’s talent for layering and faceting vocals and instruments and sounds is on another level So much of her music needs to be listened to with headphones/earbuds because there is so much you don’t hear at first. She’s of the ilk that you hear and discover something new with each listen.

You had the smooth sophisticated sounds of Sade and Roxy Music, the growing up of 'prog' bands like Genesis and Pink Floyd, some damned good rock from Wishbone Ash; inner city boys like the Specials and Madness; Bowie, Queen and so many more. Pure pop from T'Pau , Michael Jackson and so many others. Us old farts were lucky enough to live through it. Oh, almost forgot Supertramp there. And Meatloaf. And.................... you get the idea.......... Best of luck with your channel.
'Don't Give Up' a duet with Peter Gabriel is devastatingly beautiful and sad at the same time. Kate give a wonderful performance. The video is simple but dramatic.

Kate Bush wrote this song for the film "She's having a baby" back in 1989 staring Kevin Bacon.....it's about a couple who are expecting a baby ....but both mother and child are in danger of loosing their live's due to complications

I love how dividing Wuthering Heights can be with folks. I absolutely adore that song and is one of the first two songs I heard from her that absolutely enraptured me. Once you get past it, you're welcomed to a lovely world with one of the warmest voices in music.
I am pretty impressed by your sharp insight into this production. Great job. This one is a really strong addition to her backcatalogue. I have always loved it. But being the last track on The Sensual World, as an albumcloser it does not really work for me.
Childbirth as a crucible for a relationship. So hauntingly lovely yet dramatically tragic video. I can't decide if she dies or not. The closing of the piano case seems to say she dies. (you did not watch to the end) Great reaction regardless. You got it.
