We have the Alpha 2 also and suddenly we have no music playing. We can pick songs, we hear the numbers and the applause, but there is no music and no voice. I know the mics are connected because i can control the unit with them. Tech support told me to reset but that didn't work. They want us to bring it to service center but we are not in the Philippines so that's a no go. Any ideas? Thanks
Can I Suggestion especially for your question? 1. Can you do uploaded the platinum boot up HD (not camera and your logo as well) for alpha 2 evenly for privacy 2. So What’s your plan about your player to fixed. If Yes, you’re going to service center. If No, could you check the sd card files for safety purposes
Hey! I have the this exact same karaoke machine too and for some reason while i was typing a song number, it went blank, rebooted and now all the songs are gone as if they had all been deleted. I can still put numbers but when i do, it says song does not exist. What should I do?

Same problem for me as well! I live in America and they don’t offer support or give us another unit 🙁 Always software problems

Hi, did this black screen happen to you after updating the firmware? I have the same issue. Looks to me like it's a software issue.
Yeah happened after update. Platinum gives so support to me ☹️
Microphone isnt working ,but have music sound, only mic. Does this have any settings for mic to be connected
Check that the mic volume is turned up! Let me know if that helps 🤙🏽
have you tried open the alpha 2's SD card on the computer to see if the files like BGV are encrypted or readable

If I factory reset, will it cause any problems?
Safest to talk to platinum first but usually factory reset should work. However make sure you contact customer support

try turning off while booting and turn it on again repeat several times until you get to android recovery menu

Platinum alpha 2 is the most useless karaoke ever made. Completely waste of money.
It has momentum but no progress or good use because it was mainly to gain money
