I love Scene Stealer, it’s my everyday. The hairline is flawless. This look most accurately mirrors my style before alternative hair. It’s true what you say about the fibers breaking down...it tangles like crazy and despite being extra gentle, it gets straw like after just a few weeks. I’m replacing it every 3 months (plus a backup), but that’s wearing it everyday. Eventually if I cut it shorter I am able to wear it a bit longer. Even though I didn’t know how fast the fibers broke down when I initially bought it, I’m still a fan! Now if only there was a way to combine Raquel Welch lace fronts and Jon Renau’s color💖

The ends of my scene stealer feel terrible. I’m going to try the silicon or downy. It started feeling bad after five or six wears! I’m thinking about having my stylist trim it

Love it all! You are so refreshing on the wig scene, from your camera work to your editing, let alone the wealth of realistic information you provide. I cannot believe it. I am 60 and finally found a bra that fits me, and so comfortable. I ordered two to try. Today I ordered 6 more. Incase they stop selling them. That should hold me. New to this topic and I've watched several of your videos recently, this RW Scene Stealer is gorgeous on you. My opinion is it is not age inappropriate. Years ago my grandmother would say women over 30 should never wear their hair long [below top of neckline]... I was about 36 & she was looking at a photo of me leaning out window of a moving truck, commented on what a pretty picture that is .... long hair and all ???? wow, THAT was a compliment .... no mention of hair length. Some years passed, on a visit with her, she being an avid wig wearer for decades surprised my daughter & I, let her hair down and we were stunned, very pretty and LONG past her shoulders [for our eyes only of course], she was 84. It took a lifetime and a resistant granddaughter to ancient trends to get her to let the hair down .... sorry so long.
Don’t listen ! Keep it long ! Enjoy for the short life the ends have ! Eventually you’ll have to trim it but for now enjoy it!!! 👍👏👏👏You rock that wig!

It is very glamorous indeed. I love it! I think it would be hard to pull off though, at least for ladies in my age range (although to each their own). You look beautiful in it even at this length. It looks like a lovely option for girls that want longer hair. I just can’t deal anymore. I had long hair for years (before it started getting too thin). Now I just can’t be bothered with fussing with my hair throughout the day even if I could have it longer, LOL.

So Gorgeous on you. I am a fan girl of RL Scene Stealer. I have purchased several over the years. However, Scene Stealer is not long on me. I am tall and long neck, so Scene Stealer just barely touches the top of my shoulders / and clavicle. I highly recommend Scene Stealer, but as mentioned, if you are tall and long neck, you may be disappointed that it is not long. thank you.

Hi Debra! ...Yes, it (rooting) is darker. Palm Springs Blonde is an all around brighter color (not sure how else to describe it?). ;)

Hi Jill. I’ve been wearing Jon Renau’s Miranda, and I am having the hardest time getting the long bangs from falling in front of my eyes. I’ve been using the hairspray for synthetic wigs, but it doesn’t seem to be working. Of course, if I use too much of it, the fibers get gummy and they clump together, which makes it look wiggy and weird (and now I have a clump of hair falling in front of my face...argh). Do you run into this problem as you go about your day? If so, how do you manage it? I do my best not to fuss with my hair too much because the vlogger goddesses like yourself say I may wreck my fibers if I fuss with them too much due to friction.
Hi Jenny! Yes, that does happen to me too...which is why I tend to wear styles like that back in some way using clips, SqHairbands or barrettes etc...
I hear you! I also have Miranda and tamed the front with clips. Once I tamed the bangs and got the shine down, I love it. My only issue with Miranda is the hairline. I’d love a tutorial on how to thin it out (tweezers?) and make it look less like a straight line, without wrecking it as I fear I already have.

Spotlight is 19" long in the back. I don't think I could pull this one off, mostly because in the darker colors it might be overwhelming and not look plausible for me. However, I do love Raquel Welch wigs and just bought Nice Move, which is like Marion but better. I am waiting for it to arrive this week. Love this unit on you and in that color.

@@JillLynnBeautyTherapy Well, even though I might hesitate due to its length, I wouldn't rule out getting any beautiful long wig from Raquel Welch (or Jon Renau) and trimming it right off the bat. I did that with my Heidi and now it is perfect for me.

Yes, definitely. Noriko does run smaller in general (European brands do run smaller in general).
jill can you please tell me where you purchase your wigs and which ones are the best. i have salt and pepper hair and i am 65, my hair is thinning, and you look great in every wig you put on. i want a human hair wig and a wig that looks like real hair. help

Hi Jill - hopefully a quick question. I have a darker wig (nutmeg r) that's developed hundreds of little white spots stuck to the fibers. I've washed and conditioned it twice with no luck. I have used a little wig hairspray, but nothing else. Are my fibers wearing out, breaking down, going to pot? Or is something else going on? Thanks, my wig go-to person!! 🤗
Hi Debbie! Hmmm.....hard to say for certain. It does almost sound like build up from a product (but doubt that would happen if using appropriate choices for synthetic fibers)?? Also, when fibers start breaking down they do look "dusty" almost...it's really bizarre. However, I am not sure I can see little white spots. Back in the day when I was a hair stylist ,and most hairspray back then was not water soluble... it would start building up on the hair. It looked just like that...the little plastic particles (from the hairspray) had to be stripped out. That does not sound like it could possibly be your explanation though! So this was entirely not helpful. LOL
Hi Jill. You are so kind to respond. I do think it's hairspray because I can scratch it off, and it's not on the underneath fibers. Also, I wanted to tell you about a trick I figured out that reduces itching. I run my fingers along the edge of the elastic between the ear tabs and the nape to feel for what's poking me and making me itch. The weft ends that stick out beyond that elastic edge are sharp! I've very carefully snipped just the corners off, being careful not to cut the weft away from the elastic. It helps! Thanks again for being there for all of us!

I'm 59 and I've never cut my natural hair short. My natural hair is about bra strap length and thinning around the hairline exactly like yours. I think that thinning might be why that old rule of not wearing long hair beyond a certain age came to be. (not sure) I love the long wigs, but the shoulder length are easier. I don't know why anyone lets those rules creep into their minds....LOL I hear them too though. This is beautiful. I have RW Longing for Long and Miles of Style and Spotlight. Maybe when those are trashed this will be in the future.

I love the length but I have already grown into the longer lengths in the past year. If you feel the need to explain the longer hair ... I usually say it's extensions (you know... the nosy extended family)

I think this style would be perfect if it was about 2 inches shorter and not so heavily layered at the bottom. It is very pretty though.

This and Spotlight are my favorite wigs for some reason they dont look wiggy why I dont know maybe cut and density other long ones why to much hair and would have to have young fave but this one and Spotlight you dont it must be density and cut
