A fun pub server is flu's. Its mostly vanilla, not milsim but "chill sim".

I'm still extremely hesitant on Arma Reforger. Not only in the movement / feel of it, but also worried that this game will be a baseline for Arma 4. That being said, hopefully the "Cross-Functional" workshop won't make the Bohemia devs lazy on asset / QoL improvements to Arma 4 and rely on the mod community to fix their game.
Kinda what we saw with Arma 3.

Reforger auto downloads the mods required for the server. It’s the 506th public server. I’m not up to speed on what mods they use.
