Love to hear from Mr. Willie Mullins!! Always a joy to watch!! Legendary Trainer and Awesome Man!!😊😊
I feel a huge outsider to win this year!
They'll all be good horses this year. Very difficult to pick the winner. They'll all be in with a chance
@@nc3music920But the majority of them will either PU, Fall, UR or be tailed off.
@@Zarkava8 Of course they will. You have to be pretty much perfect to win the National. Any mistakes cost you big time
no1 seems to comment on the fact they've made the fences smaller again this year , its not a grand national its an Irish handicap chase 🤪
But they haven’t made them smaller..
@@jacob4690 they have its being kept quiet Liverpool echo reported it a while back all the fences have been reduced in height .
Ruby had some good ideas could possibly make the National even more competitive, we will soon find out its lost something because of the ridiculous new rules
A normal 4 mile chase with soft fence. Its been Ruined
Try telling the horses that it's normal.
@@Zarkava8? Daft question
@@stephenholmes1036It's not a question, it's an answer. 😂
Rubys looking well
Imagine if they built the fences like they did in the 50s there would only be 1 or 2 who would get round!
It was 1928 when only 2 finished.
Lovely to listen to Ruby the greatest jockey ever
@@cornet959didn't talk crap it's embarrassing
🤡@@cornet959
Probably but you should have got over it by now. @@cornet959
@@cornet959400e 😂 still having nightmares over it.
@@cornet959 It fell you fool.
When Willie says a horse that should scrape in … Meeting of the Waters.. has a great chance on a low weight (regardless of inexperience) has a great chance one has to listen.. Gentleman true and true Nr Mullins
Mullins also said that Tullyhill was a good thing when he was 1/8 and look what happened there.
He's a gangster!! They all are!! - I was chatting to him at Killarney 5 or 6 years ago, he'd two in a race, I said to him, which is the best Willie? He said "On all known form its Lagos to Vegas" - the other horse, Stormy Ireland (!!!!) absolutely stuffed them!! - None of this lot are honest! - look at the many times his outsiders beat odds on favourites!
Whatever he says, I'll do the opposite, and I'll have a much better chance doing that!
Grew up absolutely enthralled by this race watching horses like Red Rum, L`Escargot, Spartan Missile, Party Politics, Corbiere, Spanish Steps. The National Field heading to 1st Bechers used to be one of the the most exciting moments in sport, not just racing. It is no longer a Great race just a glorified long distance chase over Brush fences. The reduced number of runners i have no issue with, there has been fields 30 and below in the past, but the fences have been totally neutered. And the TV presenters are terrified of any fatalties. Racing has totally cow towed to Animals Rights activists. There are fatalties in flat racing much less jumping. there will be fatalties at some point in the National again What will they do then?? reduce the field to 25, reduce fences to under 4 ft,? reduce the race distance to 3 and a half miles? Is it really worth it anymore?
fences have been reduced in height this year
Yes, it is part of british culture and heritage. But i agree they should stop appeasing people who have no intereat in the sport
Its not a Grand National any more 😮😮😮😢
Well said , a four mile chase witg soft low fences
@@stephenholmes1036 It's still more formidable than the Irish, Welsh and Scottish Grand Nationals.
Surprised vanillier got that little him and corach could fight it out again.
😂😂😂 Vaniller who can’t jump!
Great bet 🤡🤡
Vanillier was good today recieving 12lb off the winner and losing by 14l
@@mrgirthy2111 😂😂😂 jumped like a fridge all the way round you tool!
@mrgirthy2111 I was well pleased with how he went betting said he wouldn't be winning . He jumped better than I've ever seen him a lot better than he did finishing 2nd last year. Onwards to Aintree with him he be properly fit then.
Jumped better than ever yet still ploughed through most of them!
Absolutely no chance in the National!
None.
I cannot believe Racing TV are still uploading videos to TH-cam at 720p. How embarrassing
Not the course or race of old.
Well done thanks for letting us know
It's still more formidable than the Irish, Welsh and Scottish Grand Nationals.
Capadano is primed
Cmon vanillier .and bronn has a nice weight.
@@tomgallagher7870😂😂😂 Vaniller the horse who can’t jump!
Wake up.
Yeah i remember u saying that last year before the race allright.didnt do too badly did he?
@@tomgallagher7870 didn’t realise he won…
Ran a screamer for a horse who cant jump.funny old game allright it makes fools off us all eh..
It doesn't feel right that 2 trainers could potentially have over half the horses in the race.
What can you do though? Theyre the best horses. It would be a weaker race if you limited runners for trainers. Make no mistake, every one of those horses will be there to win and run their best
I am not convinced that every one of those horses will be there to win and run their best. I agree with your first point that the best horses should race but I'm not sure I agree with the handicapper. @@nc3music920
