Dear Axe, To tame the Livyatan you either just abduct the baby or by making a communication thing at the livyatan crafting table, then you would need to communicate with it by playing mini-games to earn its trust.
The whole scraping barnacles mechanics forced animators to make its hitbox smaller than the creature otherwise every sickle strike would have hit the whale 😊
I think the first dolphin could've been saved if you whistled passive and had it follow you though it's understandable if you didn't realize it at the moment, accidents can happen with first time tames🙃
why doesn't anybody say this but axe, do some cave runs on volcano island ive found 2 shasta saddles one a bp and one premade saddles, do t waste your mats on the replicator for now
Seriously, why is it so hard for Ark developers to make collision work properly? I don't think I have played any other games where it is so incredibly easy and common to get stuck -inside- of things. I hope no one buys Ark 2 until this issue is fixed. Fix your game, Ark developers!!

This creature is glitchy as hell and 100% useless... it's a end game tame that provides nothing more than meshing issues(specially with that stupid saddle on the bottom of it...) This is the creature devs added for free... Now compare this PC to a p2w pyromane... You can clearly see where is ASA going in the future...

Pretty sure you can the Shasta saddle in the lava island cave in the red or yellow drop.
Axe don’t forget about the algae sushi! It helps with lost taming effectiveness.
Doesn't work on passive tames though, unless they changed it

Just make sure to feed this one.
You might get lucky like Syntac did and find a saddle from a drop.
Farm yellow drops in the caves, they can drop Shasta saddles.

To overcome this, always dismount your dolphin when above the whale
Don’t forget to feed your Dino’s axe
You could be searching drops.. and get a saddle there, avoiding the whole replicator process. :D

Axe the process for taming the shasti is a long one and you do not have to rush to leeches they give you a decent amount of time

Go do the cave for loot drops. The saddle for it drops in them. I think Syntac got his out of the Parkour cave drops

If you have saddle for him you cant have it by ur base as it goes under him a good amount so wont fit in shallows.
I don't think those shallows are really deep enough anyway. It'll survive but looks cramped.
