Skrael should've had love for Nari ,and a redemption arc,in this AU / movie. Rott wasted his excellent potential . His personality / implied affection for his sister were both gone as if they'd never existed by 0: 58 ( I also wonder if Bellroc ever learned of his death. Would they have cared at all ?)
@@deulalune Why did the writers imply love for his sister,even in the early part of the movie,and then it didn't exist when " she" woke up in the roundhouse? I don't get it. The story should've led to him being hesitant about breaking the spell because it would hurt her too ...then conflict / guilt / the Strickler Arc follows...then, redemption. Even if,the way ToA does things,it would've undoubtedly resulted in his death,at least it would be tragic,at least he wouldn't perish with no one ...not even the lavamancer he gazes affectionately at in Wizards..caring about it.
I love Skrael and Nari and I felt bad that they killed each other like Skrael treats Nari as his sister and Nari just doesn't want Skrael destroy what she loved and they didn't even hurt each other until they rised the titans
