About board vs canvas: I've been surfing TH-cam to get some techniques for collage on canvas. One Englishwoman would put a book or plywood board of a similar height to the stretchers under the part of the canvas she was working on. Then it was firm enough to easily work on especially when she wanted a part with a smooth application instead of parts where bubbles and wrinkles were okay for the piece.
When you cut away before laying down the pieces w are you putting glue on the back of the paper or on the canvas? I would love to try it but how do you mix the wallpaper paste? Thanks for the video it’s beautiful

I do the same with books under the canvas…works nicely and gives a strong canvas surface to press hard….
Love the papers you used in this video!

glue or water?
What glue are you using?
where do you get your materials from, posters? or wallpaper is it?
Sourcing suitable materials is arguably the most difficult part of this whole process
Where do you find your large papers?
My baby in her beginning stages!
loooove your.... works what kind of glue you are using?
I'm using wallpaper paste
@@LydiaRinkArt thank you for replying :)
Wallpaper paste?
Thank you. Lovely.
Where do you get your collage material/old posters?
And do you seal your work with anything or does the wallpaper paste take care of that? Thank you!
Nice!
