I think you could have done it but I will be honest and say the 310 made me not want to finish.... but I have a lovely group of friends here who motivated me to finish!
Rachel this painting turned out absolutely stunning. It has an almost ethereal feel to it and I do hope you can frame it and hang it in your home. When you look at it you feel an almost instant calm and I think you could stare at this for a long time and just get lost in it's beauty. Awesome job and thank you for sharing this with us.
I realize this comment is going to be very late, but I just discovered diamond painting. I was thinking of doing this one as a memorial for my fiancé. Thank you for making this so I could see it finished. Now I know what I am getting myself into :)
I'm the insane person who decided to start diamond painting with this guy... I've learned all the possible mistakes I think. On the fun part my mom got confused when I placed my first white drill because it wasn't black, she thought I got one wrong. I did the left side, the right side, and now I'm working on the top. I'm just starting on the deer.
I bought this picture because of this video. It is absolutely beautiful. I am a beginner. My first two were 12x15, round drills, and I had no problem with gaps. This is my third, and because I'm kind of a perfectionist, I'm frustrated with the gaps. You thought your gap issue was related to going quickly with your wheel. I think the lines are a bit off. I have been single placing, and when I place drills in center of circle, there are visible, small lines between rows. When I have placed drills right next to each other, I can see the white circle in between the natural gap when 2 circles are placed directly next to one another. I have resolved to leave the perfectionist in me behind because the work is so beautiful. I'm thinking when it's hanging on cabin wall, maybe the lines, white parts won't be seen. In the meantime, I have decided to use it for practicing with my multiplacer, since single placement isn't going to be perfect anyway. Thanks for your videos and all the great tips!
I have this one, but have yet to start it. I'm excited to do it, yet afraid that I'll get burnt out on the 310 life. I know I'll have to work on it, take a break and do another project, go back to it...so on, so forth until it's completed. It turned out so beautiful! I can't wait to see mine in person...some day...lol
It is awesome! You did a super job! ❤️ Beautiful. I have not done a huge DAC(chicken). My hats off to all you ladies that complete these massive diamond paintings.
Very Epic. The size not scare me. Just got an 150 x 70. But the black.... I would not be able lol. It does look stunning. Just have a nice frame made in ali express. Will only set you back 17 euro or so.. so much work seems such a shame.
Absolutely beautiful! you're braver than me with all that 310! Being the roommate of a furry little creature, I've found that using a Schticky (the as seen on tv one) after completing a section pulls all the fur off.
@@RachelRaeCraft yeah, its a "lint roller", and comes in multiple sizes, the sticky part is a rubbery type surface that can be rinsed off, left to dry, and re-used. The 3 pack is avaailable online from many different places, comes with a compact travel size one, a roller with a handle which is perfect for diamond paintings, and big one with a long handle for bigger messes on the floor
I recently bought this one. I love the picture but just keep starring at it afraid to get started with the 310 life. I start and finish one . I do not have several going at once, so I am sure I will be sick of 310s. I am thinking do all the black first, is that a good idea.
Loved the video as always. That is a lot of 310. I'm currently working on Off to See the wizard. I use the multi placers, but have never used the wheel. Looks complicated. Lol Hugs.
This is my first comment. Thanks to you Rachel I discovered diamond paintings. I have anxiety and depression and I still crochet to keep myself busy. i needed something else too. This is it! I started with a small one 30*40 cm with bright colors as my first one. Can you please suggest me shops and patterns fit for a beginner? Thank you once more. This week I will get my pad light too and cases for the diamonds. I enjoy your videos. Thank you once more :)
Hi, my 2nd painting only $9 on Amazon, MXJSUA diamond painting kits for adults. Look for the little, blue hummingbird feeding from a flower. The different colors made it so much fun. The finished product is just as beautiful as the picture. The drills are beautiful, uniform, and if you love hummingbirds, you'll love this at a great price and with tons of drills left over.
Awesome post review... I love how it turned out and the painting looks stunning, but I am not sure I have it me to live the 310 life, I would get bored so fast 🤦🏼♀️ Awesome job, Many Blessings #vibetribe 🌈
Rachel, thanks for this post-review! I appreciate your honesty & thoughts learned along the way. I have Nightbringer & at some point will pull that big boy out & suck it up, because you have convinced me that the end-product will be worth it. I’ll miss Bucky; but am pleased that he has some of Luna to keep him company for all time! Also, I have “Wanderer” to do which I really want to start; but it’s a tad larger than Nightbringer so same hesitation exists there.
I linked it in the "i" on the upper right of this video but you can find my demo of the wheel here as well: th-cam.com/video/UWatd8rYmuY/w-d-xo.html Hope it helps!
Wow this is amazing. Do you seal this with anything, i.e.mod podge AND do you do it to both stretched and framed diamond paintings? Someone gave me a DP and it's not stretched or mounted. I don't know what to do with it. I don't want to have it loose diamonds.
It won't have any loose diamonds if the glue is good. :) I don't seal my paintings unless drills are popping off... I've stretched and framed behind acrylic and had no issues with diamonds coming off :)
Hi Rachel!!! You make me want to get Nightbringer now. I have a 25% off from my Ruby Discount I could use towards it Don’t worry about the dog hair I have my own hair falling out in my paintings. Love ❤️ your videos always so informative and interesting. I would love to visit Ireland sometime!!! What are you going to do with your leftover drills in the mason jar? I have an art project I’m thinking of doing with left over drills. Doesn’t matter if they are perfect or not. Let me know I Could pay you a little bit for them!! Take care An keep up the great work!!!
Absolutely stunning painting!! I can’t imagine what it looks like in person 🥰
It's absolutely beautiful. You did a good job ,it looks pretty from every Angle
So beautiful!!! Really love it! 😍🥰
You did an incredible Job with this kit. You are braver than me because that would have drove me NUTZ

My pleasure :)
Bucky is magnificent! I love him so much! He would be so beautiful in a pearlized white frame! So proud of your great job!
I love this design. I never use a wheel or a multi placer. I prefer to place the drills one at a time. 😀
Tracey Salt Me to they always look a little off on the canvas. However, the conly multiplacer I use is three placer.

A Schticky! Is that a roller kind of thingy?

Rachel Rae, do you just packed the older drills wth all the same way
It is amazing
I'll be honest, when you unboxed and worked on it, I thought it was kinda boring, but seeing it completed it looks epic! Like a magical creature 🐐
Looks beautiful
Any where else to purchase this? Its out of stock in the link you posted at the moment.

Soooo gorgeous. I don't think I could handle doing that much blocking, though. It would drive me nuts....
