recently I got obsess with the term "time flies". I just read a comment 5 minutes ago saying nostalgia was the best and worst feeling. It's confusing to me since looking back at the past give me motivation but is also what holding me back, I really wanna go back but of course I can't so my only option is to move on. I'm still doing great nowadays and enjoying my life even when I have to face challenge but sometimes I feel warmer inside when I think of my happiest time in my life. This playlist is the excellent example of nostalgia, it has been with me for a very long time and I can cry just by listening to just such songs. Keep on whoever read to this part, think positively even when the worst things happen.
Between 1892 and '93 Claude Monet depicted the same church, the Rouen Cathedral in Normandy, about 30 times (all different paintings) in various moments of the day/seasons. His aim was to understand how different lighting conditions could affect the appearance of the same object, thus changing the viewer perception. With this album Ujico did something very similar to that, in my opinion. It MUST be recognized as a work of art indeed. The compositional effort is undoubtedly admirable: the SAME melody has been "reconditioned" to produce different rhythmic patterns, different instruments layout, different melodic embellishments and chord changes, different styles and as a result... completely different emotions are conveyed to the listener for each single track. Thanks to that the album doesn't feel like "the same melody" repeated many times, but rather 10 completely original tracks full of details to enjoy. I really appreciated this album as well as many other Ujico's works, though I'm more of a jazz/classical music lover, but musical pieces of art have no genre. Hope someone will agree. @@robbithouse its not pretentious, that word usually describes a fake that fails at imitating. He simply told us a well know story and related it to the album in an attempt to praise it If its not fake, is a good thematic link, and isnt an exaggerating then its probably sincere

This songs brings me so many good memories, this artist literally help me pass through my "depressed" ( I mean, when I didn't see porpouse in staying alive) phase. Came back here makes me think about this phase... you was my company in that hard times, thank you a lot!

I appreciate the cute attention to detail in artwork for music by Ujico* / Snail's House. It makes the overall images and reoccuring themes even more enjoyable. I also like references in her music.

If you're on Android you have a few options (besides premium): If you're comfortable installing apps from outside the Play Store: 1. NewPipe. An alternative TH-cam app, though, it sometimes breaks because it's unofficial and TH-cam changes their API. 2. TH-cam Vanced. Probably your best option, it's a modified TH-cam app without ads (and background play). It's a little tricky to setup the first time, but after that it's pretty nice. If not: 3. Firefox with adblock and YT extension. Firefox on mobile supports extensions, so you can use uBlock Origin along with an extension called "Video Background Play Fix" to fix, well, TH-cam videos playing in the background. If you have an iPhone.... I don't know what you can do cus I don't have one of those.
