Thank you. I just realized I have been doing this now since I fell April 2021. I visualize ever step I am taking and watch and say in my mind "I will not fall". I will watch every step I take. I will use my walking sticks. I will hold the handrails on stairs. And this past month I went on vacation in Mexico and this is the first time I have NOT injured myself while on vacation. I really visualize every step I take while repeatingmyself

That is a lot of claimed benefits from just two old studies (basketball and piano) that the methodology and size was not even discussed.

@@ahmedelbeshbeshy427 I'm not a mental health professional, but here are a few suggestions that might help you cope:
Seek Professional Help: Consider reaching out to a therapist or psychiatrist who specializes in treating depression. They can provide personalized guidance and strategies to address your specific situation.
Mindfulness and Meditation: Mindfulness techniques and meditation can help you become more aware of your thoughts and feelings without judgment. This practice might gradually help you manage intrusive mental imagery.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): CBT is a widely used approach for managing depression. It focuses on changing negative thought patterns and behaviors. A therapist trained in CBT can guide you through these techniques.
