I'm a retired engineer, and a purist. GP-9 still with the hood high. I wonder if it still has the original control stand with the 24 air? When ATSF (Santa Feces) rebuilt their GP-30 engines, they upped the hp to 2,500, matching the GP-35's.
Excellent! Lots of heat out there to be in the sun. Note that 3752 seems to have a new stack? Do you know what mods they made to the GP30s: Turbo removed? I don't recall they had the block out. It should still be a 567. But is it now a 567C instead of the original turbo 567D?
Good video. Sadly, the only Class-3 railroads I have seen are Palmetto Railways, and the SC Public Railway. I would love to see an SD70M-2 in that paint scheme.
Great video, I wish they kept the old horn on that gp30 though.

That's a great video. I haven't caught them yet....
WOW! WHAT AN AWESOME VIDEO EVANS! NOTHING LIKE THE SOUND OF A GP30 IN NOTCH 8!

Guess those pretty green units will be boring GW orange and black some day.
