I never did see Minutemen but about ten years ago i saw Mike Watt and the Missingmen and it was the most intense, grooving show I have ever seen. What a human. What a privilege.
Looking forward to meeting and hearing Watt again in 2 and 1/2 weeks !!! Been enjoying his "ring spiel" tour `95 for a few weeks and look forward to having him sign it and some stuff from fIREHOSE and Minutemen again ! If I lived closer to the gig, I`d offer up my couch..............

God bless Mike! Saw him a couple times in the 90s, & it was an excellent show each time! Cool, down-to-earth bunch of fellers.

It's odd that The Minutemen would be deemed "too violent" when they certainly were not. Their mosh pit was swirling, but not violent.
