Watching this 1 hour before the exam 😭😭

With the exam later, watching this video last night has made me feel more confident about it, so thank you so much!!!!
How u do
@@HELLOHELLOISANYBODYTHERE Got an A
I am actually cooked, if you don't do physics its an automatic disadvantage for mechanics. Combine that with me spending all day playing skate 3 and this exam is not looking promising 😭🙏
Just started a level match looking forward to it all thanks mate :)
Wish there was something like this for mechanics 2 😭 was truly a life saver for FM1
Watching this a few hours before the exam, hope it goes well!

you're saving my life mate, sitting the applied paper tomorrow
Best of luck 🤞🏼
How did it go?
Yeah, how did it go. Also same. At 8:45 tomorrow morning is the mock.
@@BicenMaths hi Bicen, I was wondering if you are thinking of making a further statistics video? Would be really helpful and round off the series nicely
Haha I literally had a mock on this today! Couldn’t have made it a few hours earlier ;)
It went well though. Thanks for this for the future!
I hope it went well! 👍🏼
Thanks mister Bicen maths. You alone secured me at least 25 marks this paper
Incredible! Thank you!
This was incredibly useful, thank you so much!
You’re welcome! Good luck with your studies 🍀
got this test in a hour hope it all goes well thanks Mr Bicen
could have done a better but it was alright
Another amazing video! These have helped so much. A similar video on FS1 would be great - there's quite a bit to stomach there alongside other modules
A lot of people have requested this - I’m hoping to create one soon!
@@BicenMaths That would be amazing. Could it be before the FS1 paper this year?? :)
This is so so so helpful since I have my mock when I get back to school next week! I also have a FS1 test as well in three weeks time, have you taught that module before or have a video on it as these are so useful?
Great to hear it’s been helpful! I’m afraid I don’t currently teach FS1, so there isn’t one for this module. But there are ones for Core Pure 1 and 2, as well as Pure, Mech and Stats for regular maths. They’re all available on my channel under “Exam Hints and Tips”. Good luck with your exam next week! 🍀
Thank you due to covid and remote learning it is really difficult learning these stuff and hard to review it. Thank you
You’re welcome - pleased they have helped you! 😃
1 hour until my exam. Thank you!
Thank you so much for doing these sheets. very helpful. could you be able to do one for further statistics 1 as well, pls? thank you.
Good suggestion! Something I’m hoping to work on soon :)
Will you do a Edexcel Further Mechanics 2? It would be really useful too!
I struggle to remember centre of masses & laminas and the SHM stuff.
Thank you so much these are real life savers!
Probably not for a long time I’m afraid - I don’t teach FM2 right now and have lots of other things in prioritising. I’m sorry!
@@BicenMaths ah no worries! Thank you anyway :)
Good!!
Absolutely love this series, being able to sum up the entire syllabus on one sheet of paper is amazing! Would it be possible if Further Mechanics 2 is included? I'm sure a lot of people will find it useful
FM2 might not come for a long while as I’m going to do FS1 and FP1 first I’m afraid! Thanks for the support, I hope your studies are going well!
Hey pls send any links to good FM2 videos im really struggling to find stuff and it would be much appreciated
Please do all the other units too!!! These are really helpful!
Thanks! That is the eventual plan... it's a big project!
@@BicenMaths when will the other videos be uploaded?
Can’t give a date right now
I'm doing caie further maths and all your contents are quite similar to our syllabus! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING A LIFESAVOUR

Thanks a lot Mr Binga!

Bazinga?
I finish fm1 in a week with your help, this video is just too good
I don’t even do further maths. I just use these videos for extra knowledge
Devoted the u.w=v.w and -eu.I=v.I to memory after this video as it looked useful and I hadn't considering it much when learning. Just used it in the exam to bag 7 marks. I am indebted to you 👑
🙌🏼
Thanks m8 very useful.
gl everyonee!
SO useful please make one for FS1 also
I am going to make one in the next couple of months :)
So 12:30 is I think where year 1 ends if you're doing the as level
That was a great video. I have a question about the collision logic section though. You said that d was strictly greater than c, but couldn't d also be equal to c as the particles could coalesce so would the equation not be d>=c? Thanks once again for these brilliant videos.
If that happened e would be 0 and you would probably realise something was weird
Great video!! Thank you! Are you interested in doing one for FM2?
Probably not for a while, it’s only possible to make them after I’ve spent a lot of timing teaching/learning the content! And I don’t teach FM2, but so eventually!
Yeah it’s a hard course with a few resources out there
hey great video, really helped but i was wondering if you're gonna do decision maths, cause its very memorisation heavy.
I think decision is very unlikely for a while… simply because I have the least knowledge in this area!
Hi Mr.Bicen could you do one episode of every thing you need to memorize for further maths decision module please, if that’s possible. Thank you so much!
Probably not - D1 is a module I have very little experience with!
@@BicenMaths oh no, thanks for replying!
Hi, just wondering, do you have a further stats (FS1) everything you need to revise video/are you going to make one? Just curious, but this was very helpful for the exams next week!
Not at the moment, I didn't have to time to do this video this year!
my exam is tomorrow and i’m so unprepared
how did it go?
@@anonymous-zg7wh LOL it was my worst paper- i did OCR MEI and that paper was torture but luckily I did well in the other papers otherwise I would have got a U
hi sir have you got a specific video for what you talk about at 8:35 about taking impulse as positive? i cant remember doing a question about this
and also at 15:03 when you talk about distance ratios as i do not remember seeing this in your videos
Not sure about the first question, but Video 8 and 9 from Chapter 4 (Collisions in 1D) address the distance problems!
@@BicenMaths tyy
do you have complete playlists for further maths AS
Yep! Chapter 2, Argand Diagrams, is currently being recorded but most of it is uploaded. The rest is there! 👍🏼
hi, Im just being curious, in this video, i see that sometimes the coefficient of restitution stays the same and other times it turns negative, so is it mandatory to assign positive/negative directions in all types of questions? does it affect the outcome of your solution? one example would be 18:01 and 20:50
also, in 25:35, i don't understand how that makes the hypotenuse 2r
You can choose to set which direction is positive or negative in any question - although the actual value of the coefficient of restitution is never negative, it's always between 0 and 1.
The reason the hypotenuse is 2r as it is the distance between the two centres of the circle, so 2 radii, i.e. 2r.
i feel like i barely know anything and i dont have much time. do you think going through this alone is enough and then past papers or should i go through textbook?
I think it needs to be a mixture of these things, and definitely not just this video - really important to practise to get some techniques into your brain fully.
In 1D collisions does it matter if we assumed the direction after the collision wrong?
Long as you are consistent with negative and positive signs. It does not matter. If the value is negative it just means it would go the other direction
Is there one of these for further maths statistics? @bicen maths
There isn’t - sorry!
Hi sir, could you please do one of these for fp1, thanks 🙃🙃
It is in the works! :)
@@BicenMathsThank you 🐐🐐🐐🙏🙏🙏
Do you have questions by topics for further mechanics or where would be the best place to look? Thank you :)
Yes! As you're a member, if you go to the community tab, there's a members post that has a link to the members Google Drive - there's then a link to the exam questions by topic document!
@@BicenMaths Thank you so much!!
Can you do one for Further pure maths please
It won’t be done before the exams, but it will be coming eventually!
will you ever make one of these for further stats? FS1
I hope there'll be one in time for the exams next year!
“Next year”, i think you mean tomorrow morning (before 13:30) :)
I know a few people have already asked, but could you please make one of these for FS1 too before the A Level in a few weeks time? Thanks
Yep, I have them in my Google Drive: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1glx2hcQYsCs_g8R9SAyAgHMAQw_kAe51 Look at the folder as well as the other files.
@@BicenMaths its not there for fs1
could u please do one on further stat
Maybe in the future, but focusing on some other projects first, as well as teaching my Year 13s for their exams coming up! Sorry it won’t be for a while 👍🏼
@@BicenMaths it's fine. Ur other video have already help me a lot
Have you got one for AS Further Stats
Afraid not!
@@BicenMaths do it then!
question, so F doesnt represent the resultant force in P = FV, its just the driving force?
Yes, driving force. I know the equation as P = DV to avoid confusion
I've started to use that version, too! Too many F letters in mechanics... friction, force, resultant force, driving force...
Is it possible to upload one for FS1 before the exams this year?
Possible, but I’m not sure that likely. I am sorry, I’ve got lots on right now that I’m working on!
@@BicenMaths No problem, already appreciate your work! Thank you!
@Bicen Maths Really looking for statistics. Thank you for all the videos you uploaded
Could you do further pure 1? Or even further pure 2?
Not something that’s on my list, I’ve not taught FP2 before and haven’t taught FP1 for a while - so it’s not something that’s easy to produce. Sorry!
@@BicenMaths that’s fine, no problem
Do you not have to memorise circular motion equations?
This isn’t in FM1 for Edexcel 👍🏼
@@BicenMaths oh right. Thanks
Is this AS mechanics?
It’s further mechanics 1, for the full further maths options module. There’s one for normal maths on my channel page, but not AS specific!
@@BicenMaths so fm1 is AS?
FM1 is a module that has some AS content, and some A-Level content. It’s a further maths module
See me here in a year
No centre of mass of laminas
No motion in a circle
No simple harmonic motion
… because none of these topics are in Edexcel Further Mechanics 1
That stuff is all FM2
