Reentry and roll is easy to do with the float. Gotta try it without the float. Only drawback for this entry is that the cockpit has more water in it to pump. Extra water is worth it for the ease and you will have learned half of the roll. Very good video.
@@yuki_sama Doubt it. I'm pretty sure there's an audio rig on his jacket but I just can't spot it in video. Audio guy had his setup done brilliantly. I'm thinking a Countryman B3 hidden somewhere to a waterproofed transmitter or recorder.
Good video, but the underwater shots don't really help or show anything. I do like re-entry with semi-submerged boat. Too many want to have a water free boat to get back into.
this is one of the best vids yet. I like that it shows a recovery in high seas and not just in calm water. great vid.
Never lost the hat. Extra points are awarded 🤣

Bit of a thread bump but could you mitigate amount of water in the cockpit by emptying then re-entering without tipping it on its side?
Gordon Brown is great!
best thing with your videos is they are not all flat water rescue demonstrations
The music at high seas is epic
Love that accent! Good video. Looking for ways to get back in. I see many ways on youtube. Best way is with at less water inside as possible I think.
Great safety video clips
What microphone + recorder did you use to record sound? Sounds fantastic!!
Gopro maybe?

With that much water left in the cockpit, a portable electric bilge pump comes in handy.
Very good
great video thx for sharing
Excellent !!
What Kayak is this?
So the idea is you place your paddle float on your paddle before you tip over and need to use it??
Nah.. I don't think so :) You fish the float out of your boat when it it is upside down and you are floating free and attach to your paddle then
Sound advice!!!!!!!!!
wow, nice
Should have emptied yak by raising front with it inverted before reentry. Pumping out a flooded yak could take ages.

They do! I saw how he entered and slid into the boat while underwater. Helps a lot.
帽子、濡れちゃったな
Get an Expandacraft and you will never have this problem in the first place
