Donnie has a lot of things in common with Bruce Lee. The back and forth from HK to the US, the street fight issues, the dancing skills. Bruce was a cha cha champion. Pretty cool.
Hmm...grew up in Boston, can play classical music on piano, bboy, can do BMX tricks, skilled in various Chinese martial arts. The Internet is a Pandora's Box of info.
from what i heard the first one "you're not a man...you're a god" and the second one "you are a tortoise...you will live a long life." and the third one "you're a blade...the sword of justice" finally "that's it. goodbye"
This clip is so hilarious -- mainly for its obvious anachronisms and cultural juxtapositions in light of its setting :) Breakdancing in martial arts romances always cracks me up :)
He one of the greatest screen fighters and he is really good dancer! much better then average ones who think they are great and this is not even his main talent!
no... it is donnie yen. and the movie is called drunken tai chi. akuukulaga is corret. the master is the same guy in shaolin drunkard, if you've seen it. and because this movie was directed by yuen woo ping, he'll make people do all sorts of crazy things. yuen woo ping even helped his father's career with jackie chan's movies... but enough of this...
If you have the videos of Donnie in America dancing against hip hop dancers in the late 80's please post them. Donnie was the first chineese superstar to fully support hip-hop culture in its day. Jackie Chan would follow Donnie's lead in this regard.
He uses it more than most. In some of his movies it's completely riduclous. Watch New Big Boss. It's so bad that you can barely see what's going on in some parts. Jet Li did this a lot too in some of his wire fu movies. To me Jackie Chan, Yuen Biao and Sammo Hung are easily the best when it comes to movie fights. Especially Jackie Chan. It looks like he never undercranks and his editing is almost perfect so you can see every move. Still, right now Donnie Yen is making the best stuff.
Donnie Yen is completely awesome. some of his older movies aren't that good, though. He used to speed a lot of his fights up and it looks really lame. His recent movies like Sha Po Lang, Flash Point and Ip Man are great though. Right now he's the best martial arts star. He's a really good actor too, unlike Tony Jaa.
Bruce Lee said, Kungfu and dancing are almost the same thing, you need to find yr own rhythm and yr opponent's! Then he got the champion of Hongkong Cha-cha dance competition!
Donnie Yen, a man of many talents, that was some of the best acting, miming and breakdancing I have ever seen.
This man can do everything: fight like Bruce Lee, play the piano like Chopin, so this doesn't surprise me. He's just the best. Full respect!!!
Sounds like a asian to me.
Dam, I didn't know that Donnie Yen can dance like that!!! It's impressive :]
Donnie possesses a lot of talents. He can do Chinese kungfu, play piano, dance, sing, direct and act. Wowwwwww!
Gotta love that their solution to the scene running long was to hit the fast forward button. =P
pantomime and break dance at the same time, this guy is truly talented
Donnie has a lot of things in common with Bruce Lee. The back and forth from HK to the US, the street fight issues, the dancing skills. Bruce was a cha cha champion. Pretty cool.
It is him, no double. He knows how to bboy when he was young
Hmm...grew up in Boston, can play classical music on piano, bboy, can do BMX tricks, skilled in various Chinese martial arts. The Internet is a Pandora's Box of info.

HAHAHAHA! I love this movie! So funny hahaha! He starts breakdancing at 2:00 hahaha!
Didn't realise he could breakdance too. Michael Jackson must be envious of those moon walks.
Anyone know the song by any chance?

he's normally sious but when he he's funny there' no way u wanna miss it
Dancing and martial arts goes hand in hand. Learn a pattern, learn a move, learn some more and bust a groove! :)

He's great in everything and this is just one proof!
