Yes I thought it was worth it, even just for the weight difference alone. On paper, it's only 20 grams I believe, but it feels noticeably lighter, and much better weight distribution. Lots of little things that add up (better speakers, connectivity, camera, etc).
Maybe its a "Tax Write Off" from the money made off of TH-cam views.
